All went downhill when Dowes came on. Slowed it all down and gave a penalty in his first tackle.

Dowes first impact was to come on and give away a stupid penalty helping change the tide of the game.. really poor play AGAIN. I'd like to see how many penaltys we conceed while in position compared to other teams? No other team seems to but we do time and time again, very interesting decision to penalise Lyne imo which set up their second try.

Agree. I've been critical of him and have doubts he's good enough to play stand-off, but to be fair to him he was playing well when we had runners. His pass for the try was excellent.

Same goes for choosing to kick that penalty, we were so far on top at that stage we should have rammed it down their throats, instead we made it clear to our own boys and theirs that we expected them to get right back into it. They duly obliged.
