Briscoe - Not really improved since he came onto the scene


briscoe is being found out this season.. other teams target him now.

1..cant jump

2..cant catch

3..panics when the "big boys" running at him near line and very rarely stops them if ever

4..found out of position every week..

lets hope agar rubs off on the rest of the players then eh.. the young lad needs some direction and agar (mr motivator and master tactician) can have him down to a average player in no time!!!

Balanced to you means totally pro FC. Anyone stating anything anti-fc isnt seeing anything balanced to you. You do realise that balanced means in the middle dont you, seeing things from both perspectives?

I really dont agree with this cant jump cant catch lark. A cross field kick is nearly a 50 - 50 outcome depending on how good the kick is sometimes it even favours the attacker. What i would like to see more is more protection to all players on kicks. Instead of standing about waiting for the said player to challenge for the ball, maybe they could rush into the try line incase a boucne goes wrong.

Manu - You saying he wasn't good when he wasn't run ragged by Agar having to lay 80 minutes last season???

Briscoe - Not really improved since bursting onto the scene. So again no credit for Agar

Tickle - 1 cap, he played a massive part in Englands progress to the final..... oh no thats right he didn't. He is playing like he played in his first season for us.

Whiting - Whiting was just as good in 05 and it is only after Agar has seen sense to play him regular that we are seeing more out of him.

Or do you not remember when the players put in good performances on a regular basis??

OK then, look at the amount of points whitin has saved through jumping and catching nevermind being in the right place at the right time and how many briscoe has conceded and how many times he has been caught out this season. Non comparable.

The difference is my comments are based on fact, not guesswork or what i glean from reading the diary or HDM as is the case with many on here..

I disagree with that, actually. I've always rated Manu but think he's been more of a handful on a more consistent basis this season than since he joined the club. Whiting is in the form of his life.
