Apparently only just over 3000 people could make a judgement on the game at Quins last week.



If it wasn't a crap enough argument anyway, when you've been getting the same dross served up for the past three years you really don't need to have your face rammed into the moldy main course again, regardless of how badly trained the waitress is.

I ignored it because in the context of two wins in eleven games the blaming the ref route is a total cop out. You may disagree, as is your right, it just looks bad when the only people really backing you up are 5bellies and the Zebra from With.

I think people can make a judgement however the judgement is limited to what comes across on the radio. I have my opinions of tonights game however I agree those at the game have a far better idea of what the true picture is.

Agreeing with what? The ref cost us the game - plenty seem to agree. That Agar needs replacing - plenty agree with that.

I'm saying that regardless of the ref's influence, given our recent results, losing tonight was unacceptable.

Agar has backed himself into such a corner than the old 'bad deal from the ref' excuse really shouldn't wash with anyone, whether it's valid or not.

He does have a point Garry, You were very quiet last week and do tend to go missing when we win. Yet when we lose you are one of the first to jump in.
Easy to be anti Agar on a forum, bout time you came out into the public eye. I am not afraid to air my views in public, so keyboard warrior is not a term people can use against me but you are the true definition of one at this present time.

Even if I accept that you're right on that. It's like the guy who's always late for work because he sleeps in, and then one day he's heading to work on time and his car genuinely breaks down... his excuse means nothing because it's not change from what happens anyway.

Point taken. Agar needs replacing I completely agree. However whilst he is in charge I will judge each match on it's merits.

I posted my views after the Quins game and even gave Agar a bit of praise. Many people were saying how they were sick of me, so what was the point in posting much during a week when those that were inclined to could simply point to a comeback win against Quins as a claim that I was wrong?

To be fair, after we beat Crusaders I kept posting and quickly realised I was flogging a dead horse, it's not my fault if those are the only two wins we've had since I joined the forum.

I admire you Paul (?) for your forthright views, and I post everything under my full name so I hardly see how I can be a 'keyboard warrior'. It's just unfortunate that because Withernsea Zebra lacks debating skills, he approaches everything in a semi-confrontational way, I have nothing to prove to anyone.

When you get a guy like the Zebra who is clearly a bit aggressive and is intent on disagreeing with you regardless, you have no choice but to deal with them that way.

I might say some harsh stuff to people but you'll struggle to find an insult from me like some that people on here throw around.

Both sides of this argument have merit, but both are too reactionary at the moment to be balanced. The facts are that Agar does have to go for us to fulfill our potential, but tonight's performance was the most promising in weeks, despite the result. We played expansive rugby and alot of training ground moves came off. Also most individual performances were pretty good. Most of our problems are historical, eg losing good players and replacing them with average players, but tonight was the first sign of promise I've seen for a while. This said, even with a poor referee, we should be beating Cas at home.
