I thought the interview was poor and the questioning OTT, but I put it down to poor journalism from a crap radio station rather than any deliberate bias TBH.

I thought it was a pretty awful interview and went over the same point time and time again and they were after a slip up from him. Asking him if he would ever play for Rovers was a silly question to ask a player who may not have a contract in 3 months time.

The other way to look at it is if he hadn't asked the question he'd have been lambasted for weak journalism and not asking the obvious question. It surprised me FC let him do the interview knowing that that would be the main line of questioning.

In answer to your question Mrs B. Ben Galea got pressed on his contract renewal a few weeks ago and just stuck to the I'm in negotiations, want to stay at the club line.

I don't have a problem with them asking the question, but ask it once and maybe one or two follow-up questions for clarification. Matt Dean was way OTT IMO. Thanks for the info on Galea. I hope the interview style was similarly aggressive, in the interests of balance, and look forward to Scott Wheeldon's interrogation shortly.

I don't think it was agressive intervewing, just unimaginative. It came across that after he'd answered THE question the interviewer didn't know what else to ask him so just laboured the point. Galea's interveiw wasn't agressive either just a laboured (not as much as CH's) where will you be next year. I often wonder what they expect to get from interviewing some of these players apart from the party line, trainings great, we think the coach is excellent, I need to knuckle down / carry on improving etc etc

I like Radio Humberside and think they do a cracking job covering local sport, cannot understand the animosity towards the station by many on here; so what if Gwilym is a closet Rover and Burnsy hasn't a clue.

the problem with Humberside is that if you dont want to listen to it then you have to put up with the crap commentary on KCFM, its a catch22 allright.
