Well you cannot knock it really can you. I agree if we have a winning season this year the fans will turn up even more and we could be in for another profit, might be small but still any profilt is great to have.

The fans deserve some credit in all of this for sticking by the team. Hopefully we can be as successful on the pitch in the next few years even if it means breaking even financially.

Dont be disillusioned either, Jimmy Rule and the board fully appreciate that it couldnt have happened without the loyal fanbase that we have.

On another note its refreshing to see our directors not slating rival clubs. I was at the safer schools partnership event run by HCC/Humberside police and John Flatman was doing a peice on the FC community programme and all the way through it he was biggin up Hull City and Hull KR for providing exactly the same chances to all the children of Hull and the East Riding.
Well Done Fc and I am sure the new 18th Man programme will sell very well. What I like about the club is if you talk to Clarky,John,James,Tony etc they alllove the club and are will to listen to your suggestions for future ideas to help the club.

Its how much bigger the liabilities are compared to the amount of assets.

To have net liabilities is not a desirable position, however Hull FC has improved this considerably over the last 5 years.

If the accounts are abbreviated, which I assume they are with Hull FC being able to elect to submit those style of accounts, there will not be a detailed breakdown of the liabilities.

That being said, its reasonable to suggest that of the current liabilities, there will be a decent wedge owing for PAYE / NIC, a certain amount of VAT owing and a degree of deferred income for season ticket and corporate packages sold for the 2010 season.

The dobbins going bust would not be good news for anyone, least of all Hull FC.

I don't think some people have the sense to see that to be honest. 2 competetive teams in hull is a money spinner for both clubs.

and the travelling support of Rovers is good for the rest of the league. I would be glad to see the back of Hudge though who I imho has been terrible for relations between the two clubs and some of their supporters.

Fantastic financial results from the club, staggering considering the economic climate over the last 2 years. Granted, we have underperformed on the pitch for the last two seasons but injuries haven't helped the cause and off the field events. As a Leeds United FC fan and resident of Portsmouth, ask any of these clubs fans if they would, with hindsight, have a solvent, profitable club at present instead of a 'chasing the dream' club as of years previous, and co-incidently very much which our neighbours across the east of the river seem to have been doing, and are still doing, at present!!!
