The 13 shirt is used as an extra prop nowadays, as the interchanges become less & less it makes sense, hence the FB position evolving into an extra pivot.

I've said it before but in ellis, manu, frank and mini we have a ridiculous amount of talent (and money) tied up in the back row which leaves us a bit short in other areas IMO, one of which is half back. Swap any of those 4 for a top half and the team would be better for it.

Having said that, next season might be the last for ellis, mini and frank which would leave us having to find a huge amount of quality to replace them

Has Abdull got a contract with us for next year? Just with all this talk of a loan, surely the club he's loaned to could just sign him up?

I like Tuimavave as a centre.He works well with Pritchard but cant see Fonua been moved out to the wing.He sees a lot more ball and action as a centre and thats what we want to see.

No way do we have too much. We have the right amount for a squad for a season to maintain the levels throughout the game and season

Every1 of the back row if you look at them has played a major part. I certainly wouldn't be messing with that area

We "faff ed" up the last month in part because our 1 decent half back didn't perform, and despite having enough ball and field position to win our last 3 games we lost them all because we couldn't score enough points. Another quality half is what we're missing and we could lose a bit of quality in the back row to accomodate

Can see the half back being Brough, with a coaching role to follow.
The quietness around Michaels tends to suggest the club are exploring other options before they commit.
Motus going to be busy next year, looking at who's coming off contract.

I'd be shocked if it isn't sorted before the season starts so he can concentrate on his rugby, thinking about it, I think we have the option for of another year, I'd still be looking at extending it a few years.

Hopefully Frank will have a big season and stay, think Mini might do one more.

Taylor not picked in the England squad for Saturday, not shocked as there's so much competition for places at Prop. I'd imagine he'll get a run out against Scotland the week after.

Taylor is much better than Tom Burgess and Cooper, picked because they play in the NRL.

Spot on Dave. Aussies playing abroad will never be picked for the national team, unlike Brits in Oz who will always be first names on the teamsheet.

Perhaps that is because the NRL is a far better competition than Superleague?

Taylor has been the stand out prop and should have been selected to build his International experience for later in the competition.

Taylor was great for most of the season but his form seemed to dip after winning the C Cup.

I think Taylor is unlucky.

I am interested to see how James Graham goes, wasnt impressed with him in the France friendly and just wonder if he is starting to struggle physically with the intensity of the NRL. He isnt the biggest prop and maybe he is a bit knackered
