Agree with most of that Sinfield was very, Peacock didn't look interested (scared maybe), Westwood was just a penalty machine today, i thought chase showed some passion and tried things. I was impressed with JJB tackled and took the ball forward well.

Part of the defensive problem is that both half backs today weren't strong in defence (Chase is woeful in defence) and that leaves both outside backs to do so much more. I agree with others that Chase is a one trick pony and we need a half to move us around the field. We seem very right sided, when with ball in hand, we could have caused problems with both wings.

Quite easily, he lost the ball at least 3 times, which at international level you can't do.

His runs from dummy half were also ineffective.

Didnt have a great game yesterday and I dont think he played that well against France and Wales but I doubt he will be dropped, not with only Abblett(sp) as his replacement.

Briscoe looked all over when attempting to take the first real high kick of the day at him but he recovered well from that and had a good game.

The last two games have made me glad we didn't sign Chase, he's no better behind a beaten pack than Horne, how Morley and Graham are even getting a look in is beyond me, both did nothing yesterday.

I thought the pack did ok considering Peacock , Ellis and Graham have been carrying knocks for most of the season. How can Carvell be left out infavour of crocked players is beyond me.

One of those was a perfectly good offload that Chase should have picked up if he hadn't been already looking to organise the next play, and another was a diabolical pass from Sinfield. The one in his own half towards the end was the only poor play IMO. And I'm famously not a fan of Yeamo.

Think the bang on the head affected Yeamo more than we think. Couple of errors but id put one down to poor back up and Thaiday being lazy getting back.

Briscoe was given a lesson in finishing by Hall, something he needs to work on and im sure he will, i would think in 2/3 years he will be able to do similar.

think theyll be OK for next week and it will lift Yeamo being on home soil

I have never been one for moaning about ref's, IMO the result of a game is usually decided by the players performances on the day. But yesterday the ref was poor and had clearly been influenced by the pressure put on him by the Aussie coaching staff during the week. A clear red card not given and a legimate try ruled out are serious errors in my book and he shouldn't officiate again in this tournament.

Pretty much spot on IMO. Chase does some clever things but is also prone to brain farts and is a total liability in defence.

He's done similar for us in SL already. Not sure whether he's still a little nervous at International level or whether he was thinking that Sinfield needed the ball to be as close to the sticks as possible as his kicking was useless.

I car't disagree with that but our inability to control the ball and poor discipline gifted the Aussies atleast 18 points yesterday.

Apart from his important creative work for 3 of the 4 tries. And.. part from creating several try scoring chances in the first 15 minutes. And.. aprt from some great touch kicks.

keeping on the subject thought yeaman was ok but still not sure if international class,briscoe got better as game went on,
