Rovers shirt isn't that bad although hard to really say with the pi$$ awful pictures.

Tbf both clubs can't win - release the same, traditional style each year and people complain because each looks so similar to the previous (this is definitely the case with Newcastle where people are often not sure which home shirt it is I've got on!

), but anything too 'different' gets criticised.

Would love to see both clubs go back to the 82-83 home shirt and 85-86 for Hull & Rovers respectively (if that makes sense) next season, but with this one been red & white I can see us going back to red & blue next season.

I'm as happy as the next man for clubs to try something a little different, but that just ain't an RL shirt IMO. Looks like a cheerleader's sash over a white blouse.

Just thought of the best idea ever, remember that Hull City 'tigerskin' shirt in the 90's? How about a shirt for each Hull club to represent their respective animal mascots?!

TBH, I'm not keen on either of our shirts having seen them in the flesh, but that dobbins shirt is god awful. Gives our shark shirt a run for it's money in the shiiteness stakes

Okay it's not the best we've ever had, but I bet we still sell more replicas then at least half the SL teams (e.g. Crusaders, Huddersfield, Salford, Wakefield, Castleford, Quins, Catalans). Good achievement considering it'll only be our 5th season in the top flight.

Cas's shirt is quality and should sell alot more then yours.Catalan too seem to sell shirts pretty well as many english fans feel that they can get the shirt with-out it being a full direct rivalry. What sort of figure have rovers announced previously on shirt sales as surely they would of easily replaced kooga if they had sold alot.

If the style is good enough for the national rugby team (produced by the very reputable Nike), it's good enough for us.

Think we have averaged about 6000 through the official club outlets (i.e. not including Sports Direct, DW etc) since been in SL.

With Cas averaging 5000-6000 at home could you see the equivalent of every home fan buying a replica shirt? Probably unlikely e.g. you guys average 13k-14k at home but not every home fan buys a replica each year.

Re Catalans you might be right, they might sell a few to English fans which puts the sales up above ours.

Apparantly re suppliers it's not that easy/straightforward. If it was I'm sure the club would have binned Kooga after the Pinkgate rubbish we had a couple of years ago.
