Great signing just what we've needed for a long time. I am certain that there will be clauses galore in his contract. If he steps out of line if will mean him packing his bags and almost certainly the end of his career. Bottom line is he is too good a player to pass up. If we were not in for him some other team would be.
As for him and Long together "again" I am sure they have grown up since the gambling scandal. Most of us fellas and I am sure a few women have done daft things when we were young, it doesn't mean we repeat them throughout life every time we meet up with mates. Certainly reading Longy's book he is far from the daft lad he once was.
As for best years behind him. Maybe so but Senior ain't bad. Menzies ain't being doing bad. And if you really want a vintage veteran look to the legend that was Toppo. 32 I believe when he signed for Hull bit stacks of experience that was invaluable. I'm sure others can be added. Let's give him a break and see what he does. He was certainly doing ok for the champions last season.
