widnes signing those players makes the middle 8s even more of a farce than it already is if they stay up! the rfl need to bring forward the transfer deadline at least two weeks earlier! a team that has 3 wins all season doesn't deserve to stay up, that's why i'm all for 1 up 1 down system

makes sense, quite like the middle eights, but the super 8s , really ain't super! to many games with nothing to play for, I'll start been interested again end of september for the semis

I think super 8’s would be fine if all went back to zero at the start

Would be good for player welfare to, and would deliver a higher quality super 8

But why should a team who finished in the bottom half of the competition have a chance at winning it? The current system rewards consistency over the previous 6 months rather than just doing enough to scrape into the 8s and then playing for the last third of the season to win the grand final.
