Washys main problem to me is his errors of which he makes far too many with the main one being laying on. If he can improve on this then as a squad player who can cover lots of positions if needed and if cheap then its not all bad resigning him.

Washbrook's entire attacking game consists of run, catch, dummy, step, tackled, play the ball.

Washbrook has shown in his first full season and at other times that he could be a very good SL player, if given the right coaching and allowed to play in the backrow.

Lets be honest everyone fit he isn't getting a game, but he will be a low paid squad player if he stays, so i don't see the problem with this.

Some folk are putting a lot of faith into some report in League Weekly. It may be true of course but as yet we don't know it is and it didn't mention which player which to me was a bit odd. That said if some of our squad wasn't best pleased with the decision to release Agar then maybe some Agar-loyal players have been making their views known to those coming in. All speculation of course.
