If anything Agar has been guilty of not using Manu correctly and trying to burn him out. The only thing Agar has done well with Tom Briscoe is scout him. Tickle has always had quality, Agar made him look tripe last year and still tries to play him 80 mins which is wrong and Whiting had his best year in 2005 and injuries have stopped him playing since.

None of the above give any credibility to Agar imo. Any more EXPRO?

unfortunetly you get a lot of people like that on here expro. Yes they can say and do say i spend my hard earned money blah blah blah. So do i, but i dont come on here stiring up a witch hunt because of whatever. Thats why i dont put many posting on here and i think i can speak for a lot of users on here about that point. I am passionate about my club till the day i die and want the glory days of past times to come back. With the injurys that we have again got this season(think someone has broken a few mirrors at the club), i dont think many coaches could have got very little extra out of the player as we stand at the moment(another point of argument there). All the clubs are after the same pots of gold in the season, but i think i can name, and probably a lot of fans can name the teams that are going to finish consistantly in the top 8 year on year. No disrespect to the teams like wakey, castleford, Quins, salford, but they wont consistantly finish above mid table but the fans still turn up with there hard earned money each season. Yes i can here some of you saying that we're a bigger club than them , but i tend not to see it with my black and white glasses on like a lot of fans do. If we get beat at the weekend, i probably wont come onto the site for a few days as i get sick and tired of the Agar out and whats kath/Rule not doing etc. And i dont think i'm alone

Not just Agar though is it. Players never improved under Sharp either, same for Bomber.

Well he did get the best out of them at times, that said our league form under him was patchy and there were lots of off field issues too.

Theres not one of our recent head coaches that i'd take back to be honest. I'd like a Nathan Brown type of coach for 2011.

Peter Sharp was the top Aussie no 2 at the time. I'd say we need to spend the cash and bring an Aussie no 1 in.

getting any of them to leave the nrl is the problem!! the decent ones appear to arrive and then declare 'homesick' pleas,and dart home as quick as possible.

That is totally up to the individual/s concerned. Some like to come on here claiming to know better

i know how much it cost me to watch the rubbish served up at murrayfield.to play with a bit of pride and passion is one thing.to go thru the motions is another.

Youre very firmly planted in the camp from reading your previous statement that says we get behind the side and tolerate the mediocrity that as supporters we get dealt. Thats fine by the way, its your opinion and a valid one. Others go to the other end of the scale demanding an immediate dismissal of Agar who they see as a problem. Again, thats fine as their opinion.

My point would be that everyone is entitled to an opinion and actually some people may know better than a clueless coach.

you may laugh but he is officially the only coach two win silverware with us in recent years, has a better record then our 2 previous coaches and turned sh it into sugar at wakefeild, also we never had a injury crisis under him

Manu - Always been a great player when played correctly, Agar has only started to play him in smaller bursts this season :[ushock: kidding right[/u

Tickle - His first season he was much like he has been this season, [uso no real improvement, again apart from international honours[/u
Whiting - Whiting was just as good in 05 and it is only after Agar has seen sense to play him regular that we are seeing more out of him. [uplease!!![/u behave he is having a wow of a season

Saying that though I can't see Agar going anywhere until the middle of next season, as I wouldn't be surprised if we have another crap season next and then the board may get rid.

If we continue to play the way we're playing and the fans can see no prospect of entertaining rugby from a group that shows a passion for the shirt , win or lose , and a coaching set up that they respect , then our gates will fall. Those other less well supported clubs will suffer without our huge away following putting money in their coffers. That sort of complacency can kill the game. It's often easier not to go to a game and that can become a habit. Yes I will probably still turn up , it's almost an addiction after 40 years plus , but you don't pull in new fans with dour rugby (unless it is somehow dour winning rugby and even then..) and gates will fall. What you may see as being negative is simply people taking off the black and white specs and saying what they see not to damage their club but because they care about it.
