I'll be there along with the usual trio I go with , I'll be renewing my pass every year as long as I'm alive ... Hull fc are my club and will always be able to count on my support no matter what league , stadium we are in , no matter which player wears the shirt , who the coach is , if people think these are bad times you must either have very short memory's or just started supporting the club

I exaggerated to make a point. They rested key players so I don't expect the effects of their trip to France and back to be as significant as some seem to be banking on.

Even if their trip to France has zero effect, we should still be beating them at home.

I'm well beyond the point of assuming that we should be beating anyone anywhere. And we lost the corresponding fixture last year. With fewer players missing IIRC.

There isn't a side in SL this year that you can take lightly and get cheap points from. Having said that Widnes, even at full strength, at home are not likely to be one of the tougher challenges this season. Its an absolute must win game.

There are no easy games any more and there have been some unpredictable results this season but this is an absolute must win game IMO.

re the last widnes home game, it was a sunday afternoon, fixture switch, widnes had one chance all game and took it!


as for this coming friday, would love to see the same starting backs that played today, houghton looks more dangerous coming off the bench than starting, widnes may have rested 3 major players but the forward battle will win the game, hopefully with them travelling back from france it will work in our favour
