FFS no. It's amazing how many people don't grasp that being a great player doesn't automatically make you a great coach. We need someone with experience.

Ray French and DDD have lots of experience (of 1950's rugby) does that make them good coaches?

This is true. However I think Kearney would have the respect of everyone in the game and more importantly he would demand and attitude sadly missing from the KC for a while now.

Yes about who the clubs needs to rid themselves of, and the direction they need to go in

If I was Rule I would be asking a few ex players for feedback on the club setup ie playing and coaching side. I am sure people like Swain, Kearney, Domic and McMenemy would all be able to provide information which may help identify areas of concern. From the playing side of things through to coaching, conditioning, physio etc.

As CEO I would want to know why the most important side of the business was continually under performing. The feedback may be very interesting!

I would be canvassing Berrigan and Cusack's opnions first. Both have played under top coaches down under. Both will have an opinion on what are the causes of our current problems.

Cant change an organisations culture if the same senior leadership is there doing the same rubbish.

My message to the club, not that it will do anything:

I'm sending this message in the hope that the board will listen to reason and accept that the appointment of Richard Agar and Jon Sharp was a mistake that can be easily rectified, by simply handing them their p45's.

I cannot understand why these men are still in their jobs because I have seen no evidence to suggest they are the right men to lead Hull FC to success in any way, shape or form. Hull are currently sitting in 12th place of the Super League, a position which is wholly unacceptable for a club or our size and support. We are marginally better than the two promoted sides of Salford and Celtic- who's playing staff are nowhere near as talented as ours! We have won only 4 of our last 20 games, which in its self is a disgrace.

Hearing the excuses that come out of Agar's mouth every weekend makes me want to bury my head in shame, we are a complete laughing stock. I dont see the point in giving Agar/Sharp the start of next season to turn things around, it wont happen, we will be just as bad regardless of the introduction of new players. All we as fans will be left with is another wasted season of readjustment under new management, sack Rich and Jon and bring in someone with either the vision and determination to bring success or appoint an experienced proven winner, ala Brian Noble!

The fans will respect the Cheif Executive and the board, if they show the passion and the belief that we as a fantastic club deserve! Sack Agar and Sharp, or offer a reason why they deserve to stay without using tired excuses that no one wants to hear! I may be just a lowly fan, but it is me and my fellow fans that keep this club alive with our financial backing, this backing is dwindling by the day as I'm sure you are aware!

Coaches and players would definately be a start, but the culture of a club includes the board etc. I dont think they need to go but i think they need to change their behaviours such as tolerance to certain things and their visibility etc.

Ah. Thats the point I am getting at. By appointing a world class head coach to be the leader/head of the playing side of the business you could then change things for the better in both playing skills and attitude?

I agree about the tolerance to certain things 100%. If I was Rule I would be more active in this area even though the head coach is technically the players boss standards should be set from higher up.

I have said on numerous occassions that the problems are deeper then just the players and coach...the whole set up needs looking at and for me the major one is the culture and purpose of the club.

No organisation can be successful if they haven't an identifiable purpose and a culture that surrounds that purpose (or objectives if you like)....the players, non playing staff, coaches and management should all then work within the culture to drive the club forwards.

Exactly. We already have a pretty good commerical side to the business. Our senior leaders/board is well involved in that.

Our playing side is poor, we have addressed that i believe we the shake up of the squad for next season. Linked into this is the coaching aspect which hasnt been shaken up and worries me. I would have an entire clear out there too and start fresh.

Our customer base is loyal to the product. Doesnt sound like we are far off when its summed up like this but the one key link in the chain is the coaching sadly.
