Real shame for Motu who only ever gives 100% to the cause. I think this could mean we dont get to see him in Hull shirt again as I think we were probably going to let him go at the end of the season anyway. Hope he recovers fully and finds a new club quickly if he does leave.

To be honest can't see Craig been injured or not having any bearing on him playing 1st team rugby I don't think Agar rates him . If this rumour turns out to be true abot Tony think we will see Horne dropping to fullback and Thorman in as 6 with Berrigan 7 rest of squad same as last week

Do we have any concrete evidence that Agar doesn't rate Hall? I think if he didn't rate him, he wouldn't be loaned out he would have gone like so many of our other youngsters that the club didn't see a future for. I think the loan was a wise move to let him get his confidence back by playing some regular football in a meaningful competition rather than keeping him in the reserves.

I, for one, would prefer to see Hall at 6 than Thorman. He can spot an opportunitty and can take on the line - something that Thorman has singularly failed to do all season. Actually, I'd prefer to see Radford at 6 rather than Thorman.

No concrete eveidence just my oponion at the way Hall was used as a scapegoat , but as I say only my oponion .
But agree I would rather Hall / Whiting / Lee at 6 before Thorman

While I dont think anyone would argue in hindsight that it was a poor move, I think that is an overstatement, first of all whos to say that if he had stayed at the club in the mess it is in now he would have become the player he is today becuase he has vastly improved, although still overhyped in my opinion, at the back on end of the 2006 especially and a lot of the 2007 season Motu was the better the fullback at the club, his form in our grand final run in was awesome and the Leeds away game in that period was one of the best ever individual performances from a Hull player I can remember, had it not been for the injuries this could have continued.

As much as we all hate saying it the Rovers move was great for Briscoe, he left us when we were in a serious slide after Cooke left and wasnt replaced, to a team moving in the right direction and looking to better itself, when he was here he was a great support player and gave his all but was very flawed in defence and he also let the ball bounce like Motu gets slaughtered for, he now seems to be a very solid fullback and very confident, I question if he would have progressed like he has at rovers if he was still at our club now with our negative rugby, poor coaching and general lack of player confidence at the club.

I'll admit Im not a fan of his, I think he's terrible at full back but just for that try alone at Cardiff he will always be remembered fondly by most Hull fans.

going forward his support play was brilliant the only thing holding briscoe back was his passing of the balll as he couldn't join the line as effectively as other full backs.

Letting briscoes go was the worst decision in recent history IMO and i will never forgive sharp for fletting him go

I would like to agree, but it is a (or one of the) contributing decisions which put us is in the position we currently find ourselves IMO. Therefore its still relevant, like it or not.

He'll have to start wearing his pants on the outside of his shorts if you can back that one up mate.

I remember him often letting the ball bounce, and he was a poor tackler one on one. As for Sharp letting him go, he rejected a contract becuase he was advised wrongly that if he got an England call he would get a bigger contract, which didnt happen and we didnt have time to stand around while he made his mind up, if people said Cooke wasnt in a position to hold the club to ransom Briscoe definetely wasnt.
