Dont think it was over running him either Whiting was coming back inside hoping Tickle would drop him off but than can be attributed to rustyness.

Thought Whiting went well for his first run out in ages TBH. Couple of mistakes/dropped ball but at least he can defend and support the ball carrier.

Thought he looked a little quicker as well.

we only signed him on a 1 year contract so i presume we have someone lined up for next season. Altho i wont hold my breath

although he had a good game yesterday, paul king is a player that just doesnt do it enough for me, a overhall of the squad could see alot of players leaving the kc...my departures would be as follows..

You basing that on his performances this year? Or when he was moved all over the field, and then stuck in the halves and made a couple of errors? Or are you just one of these fans that has a grudge against the lad?? Lee, in my opinion (and obviously Agar's) offers more at Hooker than Houghton, yet people arn't calling for him to leave....

Lee has been one of our top 3 or 4 consistent performers this season. As you say, some people seem to just dislike the lad.

in my opinion tommy lee offers us nothing that haughton doesnt.....lee will be on significantly more money than haughton to start with....i beleive that lee makes too many errors and like when wheeldon was at fc, he hasnt stepped upto the plate over the last 2-3 seasons...compared to when horne and cooke where lee's age they were differant class...we are accomodating him at the moment in my opinion...a half-back/loose man now hooker.....and he hasnt made ANY of these positions his own...
everyone talks about his potential....but he must have 100 games under his belt for fc...when is he gunna become the player that everyone says he is??? in my opionion .......NEVER.....

A club is not going to release this amount of players at one time.

we were not looking for a half back until thorman came available, we got him because huddersfield signed carney and wanted to get rid of thorman, so they paid him off and we got him on the cheap as a short term option

His talent is there to be seen! Take of those spectacles and actually watch how he has been performing THIS YEAR. When he came on against Salford, we looked a different team and I don't think that is a coincidence.

The halves are pivotal roles. Lee was thrown in at the deep end and took a lot of stick for his attempts in that position. As a young lad that will have dented his confidence a hell of a lot, yet he has come through and is showing now why he was given the contract extension.

Not aimed at me I know, but IMO Whiting, Maloney, Moa, King, Lee and Thorman (possibly) will be here. If Thorman stays, I still think/hope we will sign a 7 and Thorman will be used for cover.

Tony - worth keeping if he gets back playing again
Thorman - maybe worth keeping for back up
Moa - needs to improve fitness

Im afraid apart from the Yak and skinny just about all of them.
No club ever has major clear outs of over half a dozen players at a time and what some on here fail to see is although as fans we may not be currently best pleased, the club and Agar do not think we have problems that cannot be rectified relatively easy with the majority of the current squad. They certainly dont think drastic measures such as releasing large numbers of players is required.
Next season I believe the club will stick with the Horne/Thorman partnership. I can also see the club spending big cash on a world class full back for next season but apart from the that and the arrival of Effy, anyone believing we will be on a serious recruitment drive next season is IMO unrealistic.
