I thought for one moment that you were a fan of the club to the East of me whose board have failed once again to submit their club accounts on time and yet still came on here and mocked the way our board run our club !

Education levels are on a par if not better than East Hull. Whats that say?

Well, I always look to the West Hull massive for a well thought out, well reasoned and intelligent response to any posts on these forums.

Whose board is the biggest laughing stock in SL? Despite all the spin from Tool et al there is no shiny new training complex for you, no Crocker for you (despite incurring tons of cost in an effort to make it so), no Sunday pm kick offs for you (despite significant demand for it from your fans )and no first team coach that knows what he's doing.

Oh, and no play-off action for the second season in a row now either.

The HKR board said survival, consolidation and challenging, so we are not that far away from the third objective. Your club is going the opposite way i.e challenging (3 years ago), consolidation (last two years in bottom quarter) and survival (hopefully you might achieve this, so we can get our 4 easy points off you). Where have I heard that before?

Significant demand? Where did you get that statistical nugget from? From the survey taken it was deemed that Friday nights were a success and people wanted it to continue.

Crocker was not the fault of the club, the rules changed as did the personal who authorised the visa's before his visa was applied for.

2) How can you blame the board for Crocker not getting a visa you wally !
3)No sunday games cos Fridays have meant a financial improvement for the club and have been very succesful. Despite you thinking there was significant demand for it you are wrong. People dont like change in any walk of life and so a number voiced their concerns. Ask the same people now and most will say their opinions have changed ! (You wally !)
4) They have given the benefit of the doubt to a coach who has told them he wants to build his own side and given the bloke that chance.We will see if the coach can make it next year but I dont think its bad business sense by the board. A gamble on the pitch yes but not bad business sense you wally !

Our board have proven that they can more than adequately run the company as the money making venture that it is without losing its very large fan base.
Remember though,running a SL club can be considered something of a marathon and certainly not a sprint. Lets hope we see in the future if your board have the legs to run at a steady pace or run out of puff before they even really started !!!


And you speak as a supporter of a club where the board are so heavily in debt they darent file club accounts on time.

The training ground has been rejected, so back to square one with that one. It certainly won't be built overnight you wally!

You can blame your board for paying Crocker for months and months without any return. They should have been looking at alternatives at the first hint of changes to the VISA rules (like any pro-active board would) you wally!!

There are still hundreds of fans who don't like Fridays, I know quite a few who simply can't make it due to work commitments etc., so that's presumably the reason for giving away freebies at the end of last year. A colleague of mine had already paid to see this game through his season ticket, so felt ripped off (as did most of your pass holders) at this decision, you wally!

You have a coach that, judging from most people's opinion on the darkside, cannot motivate a team and has no tactics or gameplan. Look at the countless threads on this forum from earlier this season you wally!

You have had 10 years in SL, it is a long planning process for sure, but your team has gone backwards over the past 2-3 years.

No nerve has been hit at all. I thought the whole point of these forums was to discuss all these sorts of issues.

I am not privy to the reasons why the HKR accounts have been filed late but if you can find proof to back up your call, please let me know as it would be interesting to know the true position of the club.

You have evidence we paid him anything at all, considering he signed for someone else as soon as it becamse clear he wasn't coming, what we should have done is lobbied for a dispensation I guess.

You're right, but we also had some very bad apples making the barrel rotten, we shall see. What we don't have is a coach who touted himself around every other SL club looking for £1m over three seasons, or who has some questionable social habits, trashes hotel rooms, and is thick enough to drive through opposition fans after a semi final game.



Indeed we have, but we lost a player poached by the ambulance chaser, lost key players with awful injuries and medical problems, it's also a lot easier to go backwards once you've won a Challenge Cup and appeared in a Grand Final, it's harder when you've not even won a playoff game and got there by bending every rule in the book.

I'll take out situation over yours, any time, any day. We have a great stadium, 50% more season pass holders, 50% more fans and a grade A liscence, money in the bank and solid plans for the next few years.

You have a dump, in a shambles part of Hull, a decent squad built of dispensation players and other peoples academy stars, comparative futures, our is better, we also know what it takes to win important games, which will be even more the case when our players arrive in November.
