Bailey was making a genuine attempt to get to his feet and play the ball, whilst Radders could easily have been penalised for not releasing the legs and rolling away.

I have my suspicions about the elbows. Even if your looking elsewhere you know when you've caught someone with your elbow, and Ryan could just as easily been penalised for that.

Lee, who has played the game long enough, acted like a complete muppet in putting in the cheap shots. Had they been standing toe to toe as your manager suggested, then it would have been a straight yellow for both, nowt wrong with a bit of biff, but when you attempt to repeatedly punch someone who is on the ground then the Ref has no option, but to produce the red card.

Radders cost you the game, 4th place and 2 bites at the cherry for the GF, something the other posters seem to have forgotton in there haste to spew a load of bile about Bailey.

As Lee missed most of the match, and the consequences of that, I hope Red Hall do the sensible thing and decide Sending Off Sufficient.

I can not believe for one second the ref did not see bailey headbutt Long....instant sending off offence .....he was 1 meter away facing bailey........If he cant see from 1 metre he should not be referring......though he'll get a game next week without no punishment. And how he missed the obstruction in build up to maguires final try begarrs belief, though i'm disappointed our players never appealled to ref about it.........Sinfield would STILL be moaning about it.

I hate to see players sent off unless no other option..............his options could have been original incident both players warned or yellow carded, but the headbutt incident should have have had no option and been an instant red card.

Smith bottled it..................Cummings has to get his act together and start dropping these refs and bring in others. Players and coaches have to take responsibility for their actions, mistakes and so should all match officials.

bailey did nothing wrong at all he is trying to get a quick play the ball going but radford wont let go, u see players get boots in the face in the tackle all the time but because its bailey in the incident its always is fault, i like how the hull fans remember stuff the ref only got wrong with them, thers no mention of a few nock ons that he let go from the hull players or the penalty you kicked for been held when he was clearly still moving.in a contact sport you are bound to get stray arms and boots in a tackle now stop moaning radford cost u the game simple as

Bailey is a WUM and gets under players skin and they shouldnt get wound up by him as there mind is then no longer fully on the game but more about a revenge mission. I agree Bailey did elbow Radford in the head but by no means was it on purpose, he was just trying to get up for a quick PTB. Some refs might not have sent Radford off but he is leaving himself open to it by punching a player in the head several times from what looked unprovoked.

James Graham has been found out by Baileys tactics in the past especially in big matches and he is one of the best props in the world.

Would this be the same Bailey who was cited last week for the same offence in the 80th minute. Hopefully they will have a better view of it this time as last weeks was inconclusive!

Radford has a case to answer simply because of the red card.

By the looks of it - Bailey has gotten away with it, and although Radford should get SOS, he will no doubt be handed a one match ban so that the RFL can make an example of him.

On the other hand the RFL have shown that you can elbow people as hard as you like, and as many times as you like in the head during a tackle.

Sorry, no you are wrong. I have an unbiased eye. I watched the game not really bothered who won. I don't support Leeds, nor do I rate Bailey, but all I saw was Radford hold him down too long, Bailey struggle to get up and catch Radford head. Radford was the one who totally lost it.

For what its worth I thought hull played well enough to win it with 12 men, and would probably gone on to win with a full compliment.
