I'll promise you now, there will not be that much purple.
Not even our board are that stupid. I'd be very surprised if there ever is purple on the kit, especially after Gateshead.
If we need a third (accent) colour, it should be gold, as it is in our badge. Makes sense. |

Comments like the one you posted are pointless, it's a bit like saying that Hull FC are the best Super League side that has the KC as their home ground", yes, technically they are, but they are also the "only" SL side that have the KC as their home. |

But there is only so much you can do with irregular hoops, and we've probably done them all recently. A change of design is good in the short term, no doubt we'll be back to irregular hoops in 2011.
ps. It's written into Sean Long's contract we must wear a 'V' design in his first year to help his transition from Saints. |
