the club needs a chairperson and board that are passionate about the club not looking to just get their money back from their investment{even though they will in time}.A board that will get the correct players that will benefit the team and not just sign anyone rejected by other super league clubs. show some passion in the club and go out and if they have to buy a top quality number 7 as for me and many others chris thorman is not doing it{ too slow ,cant attack the line and his so called kicking as gone missing} We are also missing a {to turn a phrase} prop who will.get the team on the front foot to give the half backs some room to get our backs in to the game.
All we seem to do for the most of the game is 4 drives, a drop off then kick.

Forget the Carvell fiasco. Forget the fact that the game especially in the UK has so few SH. We have the money to buy a specialst SH. Yet all we have signed is a winger who we have not used at all and two back row forwards who are not even here yet oh and a fat g1t who can't play anymore than 10 in every 80 who is classed as a project.

Now tell me the Carvell / Dykes fiasco led to us not being able to recognise our need for a SH

we needed a winger to replace Sing, we are short of backs as it is

there are plenty of forwards about on both sides of the world, it is much easier to sign one of decent quality.

without shelling out a world record fee for someone, as i said the club can't just magic one, quality ones are very rarely available.

He has a full time job in the NRL and a pt job with NZ iirc. He can have a second job with NZ for me with a ft job with us providing he can bring the type of rugby our status as A grade licence holders deserves.

you really think he'd come and work in england and manage NZ part time, and they'd allow him to do so! you are aware it takes a whole day just to travel there, never mind all the time difference.

we'd all like him in charge of the club, but it aint going to happen anytime soon, so stop dreaming

I think people are getting a little overexcited regarding Keaney's coaching ability. Yes, he is the coach of New Zealand, and he won the World Cup, but he did have Wayne Bennett as his assistant.

Kearney may wear his heart on his sleeve but he is not ready as a first team coach. Should really serve as an apprentice first. Dennis Betts tried it not soon after playing and failed. This is Agar's first real test and if he is a good coach he will steer us though. Think he'd love a class no.7 to help him though and that's the problem!!

would you give up living in New Zealand, coaching the world champions, with some work in the NRL to keep you busy to come and live freezing cold Hull and try and coach our squad of lazy plodders?

we need a top coach, but Kearney is out of our reach i'm afraid
