The figures are supplied to the clubs press officer at half time directly from the SMC who take a print out from the computerised turnstile system, and the corporate figures! They have to be done that way to comply with the Licensing agreement clauses on capacities! Nor is it in the clubs interest to count the total number of pass holders in because that gets them to the threshold for starting to pay the SMC more quickly! The agreement says 'The amount attending the game'

To claim that there was more there would mean that we would have to pay more money to the SMC!!

Good crowd although it seems Friday night games have decimated the away following as predicted. As for those pretending that there weren't that many get a grip.

2500 less than last season and you think it was a good crowd?

Traditionally it's always been the opposite. The attendances released at the Boulevard were always significantly less than was actually there, same with Caravan park.

As previously stated, last year's game had an special offer on (was it adults for a tenner?). It was only beaten by the derby attendance last season.

15-20 minutes before kick off, i thought it was going to be the worst attendence since we played leigh at the kc in the SL, but i forgot these are hull fc fans, 6000 were all drinking around the concorse

Indeed...the amount of times people said the crowds at The Boulevard weren't as many/few as were announced yet I'd checked the bloody turnstiles myself!!!

It helps numb the pain.

Or victory at Wakefield followed by a decent crowd against Salford and 2 wins on the bounce (hopefully)

I fear a defeat against Wakefield and if so we'll be lucky to see 8000 for Salford. Maybe Rule and Hetherington will finally wake up though. Last night with a side challenging top 4 would have seen 15000 - yet it seemed a skinny 12000 to me.

I did not get a pass due to the Friday night fiasco, I travel from Manchester, therefore need to put something called petrol in the car and that also eliminates the drinking. glad you had a good time.

same here as i walked from the Halfway Pub it looked empty ,i thought less then 10,000 today ,was suprised when it was 12,000 plus

That's where you go wrong, most of this lot don't think.... first they knee-jerk, then they over react.

I didn't go to Hull either, I'm afraid, but I heard our turnout was not as good as usual. I think you have Gateshead to blame for that. Quite a lot of us went to that (me included) and many made a weekend of it. Given that it wasn't a planned outing, the chances are the usual away following were struggling financially to do the two trips one after another. That's my excuse, anyway.

I have heard we made quite a noise, anyway, so all was not lost.

I was surprised that the attendance was so good. I didnt want to go, but ended up going. Maybe everyone is thinking the same.
