No offence pal but you,ve been telling us all to wait and see for ages yet have probably been the giddiest on here

AP has said that we have got 6 quality signings and he said that a couple of months ago, now the only question is do we think they are quality signings.

Like others have said, Goldie, Aspy, Martin all came in and we hit the roof (well most did) and look how they turned out.

I will trust the signings we have made once we find out who they arer and trust PG to turn our team in a better team for next season.

I suspect any who complain will be eating humble pie like this year.

They didnt want to resign ogre for starters and now they are (Paea was our target what we failed to get)then there is problems with the chase issue and looks like they will have to fallback on another target.
Now Mcdonnal Bateman and Taylor also look in major doubt. Also the Galea signing seems he is a stop gap because we missed out on somebody else.

Like I said im just a tad concerned but I also know we have more signings to be unveiled.

Goldie.Aspy and Martin are not the type of players what will be winning you a Grand Final ring though. I know we cannot be having a team of superstars but we need better quality to go for the big one.

No he was a disruptive influence earlier in the season as was his missus, that was partly down to the physio / conditioner mis-diagnosing his injury and providing wrong treatment (along those lines anyway) which kept him on the injury bench much longer than planned, I believe said physio / conditioner has since left the club. Ogre has knuckled down and is playing some of his best rugby in an FC shirt, and has played his way back into contention for a contract. Still probably means we missed out on the likes of Bateman.

O'meley is a 1 year deal and will be announced tomorrow

And how do we know Ogre wasnt always asked to sign apart from what the keyboard chairmen state on here!!!

Ellis we already knew about but Im still waiting for these quality players to be announced. Holdsworth is good but would rather would have had Brough or Dobson tbh.

Im just hoping there is a nice surprise or two to be unveiled

But people with the contacts know who they are after, its just that fc wont divulge that information until its signed or sealed a bit like Galea. Alot of people had said he ahd signed for Cas lol.

You believe they wanted to keep Ogre really?
if thats the case why go after Paea and be linked with other props as targets if he is going to resign?

I personally think its quite obvious they wanted him off the books, as im guessing he would be on a fair whack and bring in some younger english internationals or future internationals to do his job at alot less cost. But thats looking like we may have missed out on the targets and now we are turning attentions back to ogre. If we wanted him that badly we would have signed him up earlier.

No one knows so everyone is guessing , just some get suckered in further than others on here....

The reason they do not announce every player they enquire about is
1, the HDM would need a supplement each week just to discuss the enquiries
2, It alerts oposition teams to availabilities and then we get gazumped
3, AP cant be arsssed with speculation and does his business quietly and professionally

Because people whos job it is to find this stuff out do and it gets filtered to other people and then you have a snowball effect. Yes alot of rumours on here maybe way off the mark but then likes of Taylor and Bateman should be targets for us imo.
