I love reading these posts, but in my opinion the board at F.C. will not release Richard Agar from his position unless we lose at least another 8 on the trot, they really are backing him 100% and any talk of a new coach is just a pipe dream. I make this assumption after speaking to James Rule (for the best part of an hour), and I'm finding it hard to get any enthusiasm to attend the next game, I'm certainly not going to Hudds.

I think you have it right, they will back him all the way and I am expecting a lot of spin coming from the club and their cohorts on here and in the media. The call will be loyalty and faithfullness, appealing to the fans deep sense of "IAKOW" we are renowned for.

People won't fall for the spin any more and we expect something in return for our loyalty and faithfulness.

I definately got that impression on Friday, there were a lot of "I was a supporter of Agar, but....." conversations starting.

TBH I was all for sticking with him and giving him more time until Friday but I've had enough now.

This showed what Pinko on the radio to be a load of rubbish too, saying that it is important to take players off on a positive. Moa was taken off just minutes after he spllied the ball on the line, after RA mouthed "F*** off Sammy...Get him off", all for the camera's to see!

Dobbin who knows nothing, he once turned up to watch his lad at under 11s the ref never arrived so we asked him to ref believing because he was ex pro he would be fine, he was so biased to his lads team it was embarassing, honestly I kid you not

All I will say on the matter is that whilst the club and team isn't in the dreadful state that some of you claim, for this club to a regular top 4 outfit Agar has to go. I'd be fairly happy for him to stay as a number 2 but I doubt he would accept it anyway. At the moment we are without doubt a playoff team IMO, but I could never see us making a mark on them.

However I've never been one to call for a coaches sacking and I will not start now, purely because at the end of the day Rich is a nice guy and I don't like to see anyone out of work. If we are still scratching around outside the 8 halfway through the season the board has to take action IMO, but even then he will go with my thanks because for all his flaws I do believe he has the best intentions of the club at heart. Some of the personal insults levelled at him are childish at best.

That's the second time you've referred to the club having people posting on here. Care to name any names?

And in any case I think that the situation has gone well beyond being able to be handled by media management, although I guess that will be the first tactic attempted.

On this we can certainly agree.

Noone is arguing with you. But at the end of the day, if you don't perform then you have to go. I genuinely believe Agar is respected in the sport, but his time at FC must be coming to a close.

Can we get Noble as a consultant? Maybe for 4 games? Would this be a benefit? Would the board and coaching staff listen to Noble?

While I agree that Agar is not the man for the job, the players must take some responsibility for our dismal start.
They need to address many of the on field issues. Players are well paid and fanatically supported so whatever they feel about the Coach , they should perform to the best of their ability.
Agar is not dropping passes,defending like wet tissue paper and giving away stupid penalties.
It`s time for the players of Hull FC to perform , starting Sunday!
