Well seen as Its been in the HDM the last week think we can all guess who it is lol how much do you reckon the fee will be for him, and it will go on this years salary cap surely, does that mean that hull won't have anything left on cap for other players.

Even if we sign a half back in the next week it's going to be a big ask to get them upto speed with our 5 drives and a kick game plan before the Rovers game. What if they bring their natural flair and we win the game.. Agar wont like that!!  |

I think we're all getting frustrated now...but hold tight as I still believe we won't be disappointed.
In my opinion the club have several irons in the fire regarding signings. If we get sammut then we have 1, 6 and 7 cover...if we get Moore we might need fullback cover (so phelps could be in the equation)....and chase would cover the halfs and of course the hooking role.
I reckon the club will have this in mind and rich will have an idea what his ideal scenario is, just a case now of seeing if it all works out!

Example: warrington payed a transfer for myler TRANSFER! they then paid him wages on top of that! SALARY which goes towards the salary cap. If we or any team had enough £££ they could buy a whole team aslong as the players wages were under the salary cap it would be fine! |

Because the salary cap is for salaries only, the transfer fee is not part of anybodies salry therefore it doesn`t count on the salary cap, it couldn`t be any simpler than that |

it's not a transfer fee and salary cap. |

Probably because a transfer fee is not part of the players salary!!! It is what the clubs agree to pay iwo compensation for the player who is still under contract to his current club,to effectively be released.
Once the new contract is signed then the PLAYERS salary comes onto the cap.The transfer fee would be paid to Crusaders Not Sammut.
It's not Rocket science !!!! |
