just been told cas are thinking over an offer from fc for both westerman and chase.a friend who lives in cas has text me saying this.both have stated that they want to leave.

he didn't know how much.all he said was that they have told the club they wish to leave and are both willing to come to fc!! westerman is still young,how old is chase?

If we get Chase, do we ditch Tansey and put Horne to FB?

both would be good but until pens put to paper its pie in the sky. i hate these rumours,they get you full of hope only to fall flat but im compelled to read em all n hope for the best

the lad who told me is not amused!!! he did say that westerman hasn't really performed to what they know he can for over a year,and that chase would be the one they would be unhappy over being allowed to go.i agree with what you say though,as until they are actually confirmed no-one really knows,but he does seem quite certain it's happening.

Ooh, a far better quality rumour than Bailey. Best one since Greenshields in fact. I love Chase and behind a decent pack I think he'd be great. Won't happen but as rumours go at least this one is something I'd love to happen.

the lad who told me is a nice kid,and is usually not far wrong!!! my only fear,if you like,is can we fit both in the salary cap?i realise players have left,hall,cusack,calders,raynor(?),king(?),etc,but improved deals for others and sharp,might leave it tight.

These rumours get more and more far fetched, i doubt theres little chance of one coming let alone both, plus i can`t see us offering the amount of cash it would take for Cas to even consider letting them leave.

The thing about rumours is soonr or later one will be right. This would be amazing but it aint gonna happen! We would have to release someone to finance it!

id agree cas could be tempted to sell,no point keeping unhappy players(if they do indeed want to leave),and they could find use for the £s.
i'll still believe it when it happens though.

jees i dont post much but i do love to follow this rumour thead every day...what a laugh..chase,westerman,bailey,robinson..serious???if these type of signings would happen it would be done already.iv had sum dodgy sources myself but cant see any of these happening...with dowes signed the best we can hope for is a cover half,probs this rovelli character that everyone rates!

if chase wants to leave,we should go all out for him.we dont really need westerman.if we can only afford one,chase is the one that would really improve us.

If Chase became available, most teams in Sl would want him, we wouldn't have a chance in hell of signing him, and apart from that why would Cas sell, Westerman I can understand because he hasn't perfomed recently and they need the money, but chase is there best player.

Most teams in SL [uwould[/u want him, but how many would have salary cap room and a hefty transfer fee available? In these respects at least we are in a reasonable position compared to the competition.
