The same Jordan Tansey that Leeds loaned down under and is getting a big reputation quickly in the NRL as a fullback??

I'd take a young british fullback with SL and NRL experience next year.

I thought Tansey was on a two year deal with the Roosters and then due to return back to Leeds?

just never rated him thanks, he seems to of got the same utility tag as he did at leeds from what i've seen of him, played hooker the other week and anasta at full back (granted a fittler brain explosion)

The general consensus from the Rooster fans is that he'd be worth anotheryear. He shows a lot of heart and is decent in attack however seems to be pretty poor defensively.

Agar said last night at one of Horneys do's that we made a serious offer for Orford but everthing idicated to his agent trying to get him an improved deal from Manly and that he felt he didn't want to come to the UK. He said he believed we were the only club who had actually given him a concrete offer.

The club get stick sometimes but on this occasion if you go all out and try to sign the best but he doesn't want to come there's not a lot they can do about it.

I like whiting but maybe he's symptomatic of the problems in the squad. Too many average players who wouldn't get a look in at any decent SL side but are regulars in ours.

Hunt does not want to come to the UK from what I have read and heard so it's very unlikely we will be talking to him.

I hope it's not Tansey, when Leeds signed him he was very highly rated but imo has never developed his own position. He is playing fullback now but is too much of a liability in defence, Tony is a far better fullback.

If we are talking to a fullback I hope it's an overseas one and I reckon the forward is British.

There really is something wrong if they let a player of Whiting's quality go. I personally don't think it will happen.
