He has played at 13 plenty of times and I've not seen the evidence for it. He played the role as more of a runner than a pivot anyway.

I think that shows a measure of arrogance, to be honest. Even those that don't think Agar ought to be sacked are not convinced he's the right man to take us to the level where we're consistently challenging for trophies. I haven't spoken to anyone, on here or in person, who thinks it was the correct decision to extend his contract when they did.

So, whilst any sportsperson or coach should take the fans' views (particularly the more extreme ones) with a pinch of salt, to sit there and openly laugh at them shows a lack of respect for those who pay his wages. And if he does read this forum, he'll realise that many of the posts are quite considered and measured and even those ones don't give him a glowing endorsement.

Why do you assume he was 'openly laughing' at the fans by responding in that way ?

Rule has done something similar in the past - dismissing anything that appears on here as rubbish, just because it's on an internet message board. Now, a lot of it [iis[/i rubbish, but there are some considered opinions on here that are no less valid than if they were delivered face to face.

ha ha i like it. The club got accused of not listening to the fans so they announce 3 forums a year so now the problem is that they don't respect the views of people who hide behind usernames.

Fair enough. That's probably the hyper-sensitive view to take.

As a regular poster on here I took it more as him knowing that he has some detractors on here who aren't backward in coming forward with personal abuse etc. Not by any means, as you say, all posters do that but some do. In the face of that he probably feels that laughing is the best retort - after all if you read that you were an 'imbecile' and an 'idiot', or that you were 'clueless' you could either waste a lot of energy worrying about it or just laugh it off. Seems like he has chosen the latter.

Where has all this 'hiding behind usernames' crap come from? I'm sure anyone on here who gives their views online would be more than happy to discuss them in person.
