They have a very good forward pack.If you watch how much time Richardson has to kick the ball on the last tackle without pressure this is a reflection of how Saints pack are in control.

As daft as it sounds I think Barba is the least of our worries and as it was commented on yesterday he's a rich icing on a fantastic cake. As you say their pack even without Walmsley is superb and Roby for me is the best hooker in the comp. They are an excellent RL side and with home advantage and our huge list of missing players including both halves I just believe our joyous Cup run is over.

What we learned from last 2 seasons is that to have a serious tilt at both trophies we need 90% of senior squad to stay fit and be rotated to keep fresh for end of season. Last season we nearly did it but just ran out of steam at semi. This season in view of injury situation will be unlikely to give saints a game in 3 weeks but 100% sure we will try with rads in charge. Let's be realistic and let players regroup and push on in top 4 so we can have serious go at GF. With all others bashing each other to Wembley we could benefit and really be ready to capitalise. Having seen sneyd today at Morrisons on 2 crutches and a leg brace he looks unlikely to steer us to Wembley for his hat rick of lance Todd anyway.

The worst possible draw for us just knew as soon as St's came out number one was coming out next.
The thing with the cup is it comes down to whether we can put in an 80min performance of discipline and intensity with the 17 we manage to put out.
It's not impossible to beat St's but we really have to be on it for the full 80.
Question is do we rock up with a more fringe squad and concentrate on the end of the season chances considering current injury situation? Don't think it's a coincidence we seem to run out of steam towards season end after with winning the CC.

We beat them at their place in the cup in 2016. Its not an impossible task, just on current form a difficult one.

As we have seen, over the course a couple of games you can lose a number of players to injury. Lets see who is lining up to take the field before we signal the piper to do a version of The Last Post.

Think the fact we have Warrington away the week before the quarter doesn't exactly enhance our chances.
They are a big, powerful physical side and not the ideal warm up for the Cup game.
We might get away with a patched up side against Rovers who could be nearly as injury ravaged, but going to Wire and Saints is a different kettle of fish.
Plus there's the obvious of the league table saying that in 2018 they have both been better sides than us this season.

Saints - loss
