So who would you replace from the regular first team backs.

It was a bigger gamble going into the season without a head coach.

I'm not commenting on the Agar out subject but listening to him blaming individuals errors etc for the tenth time this season without rectifying it as an issue is getting increasingly worrying.

We have 9 full time back rowers signed for next season and 10 backs!

Just my opinion of course. I personally think that Wigan, Warrington, Leeds, Saints and Huddersfield all have stronger squads that us. Am not sure whether Cas are at full cap.

Individual errors, the clue is there "individual", i am no fan of Agar but he cant run around after them on the pitch. They are professional players and should correct there own errors

I reckon we have the 6th best squad on paper - assuming everyone is fit. I'm confident that we are at or very near full cap.

You don't understand professional sport.

It's the coaches fault we have a negative points difference in 4th place, and his fault that attacking and defensive structure are light years behind Wigan under McGuire. This is McGuire's first season, not his 3rd, like Agar.

You do realise that practise makes perfect and the training should be specifically focussing on giving them the practise to rectify the mistakes? Individual errors over a sustained period of time without being rectified become more than individual errors. There's a bigger issue behind it that needs resolving.

He doesnt seem to understand that coaching improves performance thats for sure.

The bloke has to go. Not because of this result, it was always going to be tough against Wigan with so many seniors out.

He needs to go quite simply because he offers nothing in the way of positive influence in the side.

Our results this season have been based on the skills of individual players. Anybody can buy in several good individuals and pull in results. A decent coach will get the players working together and Agar just cannot do this.

We will match any side that gets into an arm wrestle. We will lose against any side that takes us on with open play. Its that predictable these days.

Usually its the assistant coach that has the most hands on role with the team. He had this when he came in as assistant, which ironically is when our attack started to fail. As head coach he has seen off two assistants, im told because he wouldnt let them have an input, which again figures.

I said a few games into the season I wont go back until either he's gone or our team work improves. I havent been since. After last week I nearly reconsidered. After tonight I realise theres no change it was simply the occassion last week. Its a shame when a fan of 30 years resorts to this.

This drain will filter down right through to the youths and affect us for years to come unless something changes soon.

Projects for players sometimes pay off. Projects for coaches dont.

McGuire inherited a squad that was 80 minutes from the GF twice in two years - Agar inherited a squad that was 12th.

And you dont think they do video sessions on the game, and mistakes open your blinkered eyes Agar is not great but neither is his squad and they have to take some responsabilities

Yes, that might be so, but the season before Agar took over from Sharp, we were finished 4th, having being beaten by Wigan at the KC. However, since Agar has been full time coach, show me a positive influence on the field in both attacking and defensive structures? His game plans is 5 drives and a kick, with this season the wedge with tansey. Other than that he has nothing .

As an ex professional player from Hull FC, i think i do, you however are someone who knows the game inside out and never pulled on a shirt, like so many on here i bet

Well strictly speaking we were 11th when he took over and we stayed in 11th. He then took us to 12th in 2009.

It would be nice.

The biggest issue with Agar for me is our lack of intensity in certain games. I never expected us to win tonight and I can take us being beaten by an excellent Wigan side. What I really hate is to see us out-enthused. He's undoubtedly made some improvements this season, but this aspect continues to be a cause for concern.

Well he has something because we're 4th atm despite arguably having the 6th best team (on paper).
