| All in all whilst I think Walker is unfortunate I think the club are making the correct decision in terms of moving on all 3 of Smith, Tindall and Walker.
Rapana has been brought in to be first choice FB and mentor to the likes of Moy and probably Litten too so it's unlikely Walker would get a chance to take the field. Smith has tried and given his best but again he's very unlikely to make it in to the 17 in 2025. Tindall never really got an opportunity and thats tells its own tale when he couldn't push his way past two young inexperienced players in Martin & Barron and with Briscoe again he's unlikely to feature in any 17.
These are the decisions that successful clubs make to make then stronger by not hanging to players that won't play much of a part, its the equivalent of keeping stuff instead of throwing away that you think 'that'll come in handy', only to not use it and throw away years later.
All 3 players deserve the chance to carry on playing so for their own careers they need to move on.

| Regarding Walker, he is clearly talented - but troubled by injury, probably on a decent contract.
Would have been surplus to requirements with Rapana, Moy, Litten & Hardaker.
Have to support the club in such decisions, while wishing those deparing all the best for the future.

| This what happens when you penny pinch and have a non rugby men in charge, even if it's true about spending full cap, off the field it sounds like a lower championship club.
IMyler first job was to fully access the whole club and he must have looked at what we had and thought wow, fair play for him for making the changes he has, the hub will have helped, but he has still changed abs added experience to the staff.

| appalling really when we were all supposed to invest in the club believing that the administrators were doing all they could to to ensure we got value for money. As far as we are all concerned the expression 'blind faith' comes to mind. I have to say after coming on here to criticise the appointment originally I stand corrected and I feel that Myler has done a really good job so far.

| AP and Clark, especially AP has a lot to answer for to allow the demise off the field. Especially signing off on signings such as Josh Reynolds. Shows he was just trying to sell passes.

| Pretty damming that article, would expect that set up at an amateur club, not a super league side.
Thankfully, it looks like things have improved significantly, it shouldn’t however be forgotten, and is hopefully something that is raised at the forum on Wednesday as to how things were allowed to get that bad.

| Is anyone really surprised? We've been cutting back in every area for years now. Idiots in charge making poor decisions. Salford are an example of spending less on the playing squad and more on the off field side but still ending up with a better product.
Do we even have a marketing department? You have to invest to move forward

| We've definitely been penny wise, but pound foolish for sometime.
On reading those anecdotal examples you have to say Grix can have some latitude for the for difficulties of his task.
At least running parallel with these types of reports now are the soothing tones of the new organ-grinder.

Hull FC are closing in on fresh investment as plans are put in place for what is hoped can be the start of a bright new era.
Serious About RL understands that Thirkill and another unnamed potential investor visited the club’s training hub at the University of Hull earlier this week, taking a look around Hull’s new facilities and catching a glimpse of pre-season training.'"

| Laughable that the club thought it was saving money cutting free breakfasts (with a kitchen on site at the Uni the cost of that would have been peanuts) while continuing to hire and fire unsuitable overseas players on big salaries.
I've said it before and I say it again Pearson needs to go, he's led this club into disarray. It'll be a waste of Thirkhills cash if he's the one spending it. Better sports CEO's out there for what would be a big salary.

Wonder why anybody would put money into a RL team?
Unless you have land you can build social housing on.

Nobody sensible would as even the 'sucessful' clubs like Saints are losing cash. But Thirkhill says he has been watching the game since 1968 so like most of us has got bitten by the bug. And given there seems to be little to no chance of ever buying the Rhinos maybe realises it's a rare chance to own a club

| Let's be honest, if thirkill is worth a couple of hundred million, what it will cost to buy and bankroll us is peanuts. Probably worth it to him to keep myler occupied although I did see mylers missus is also an investor so maybe it's her
