Defensively he's an animal. But in attack, he's not getting used correctly. He's receiving the ball basically stood still. He should be running great lines that he's know to do. It's not just him it's also the halves who aren't helping him. Like I said he's just receiving the ball when we pass the ball out wide slowy. They must think he'll do a 'Manu' and throw three players off him.

Seems a strange idea if it is the case, can't think of another reason for a young prop to lose weight, unless he's ill. He was a pretty big lad with a big frame that looked like it could easily handle plenty of timber when first he came to us so a bit more bulk for him to punch holes and utilise his excellent off load game would seem to be the most obvious way to go.

Hopefully it's just a temporary set back because I really think he could almost do anything he wants in the game with the correct application.

RL big under achievers in recent years. Wakefield are a small club but have some decent players and when they apply themselves can be competitive.

There were too many simple errors but to suggest that Hull should have won easily is unrealistic on your current form. You have an ageing pack, I'd be looking there......

Have I suggested that we should have won easily. The fact is that with the players we have we should have won (easily or otherwise). We didn't because on the night we weren't capable of playing anywhere near the required level and this had nothing to do with Trinity, but more to do with penalties needlessly conceded and the failure to hang on to the ball. FWIW I think Trinity deserved to win because they at least played as a team but don't fool yourself that your overall play was anything exceptional. Had it been you wouldn't have needed a drop goal to win.
