As an aside it must be crushing that, having spent weeks doing the maths and remaining confident of smashing points differences to pieces and making the 8, Rovers fans are condemned to yet another round of Middle 8s. Almost the 4th year of Peacock's 5 Year Masterplan, it's going swimmingly.

Considering the problems through constant injuries,why are you not surprised? Not had chance to have a settled team. We are not battling in the bottom 4,so I can`t see it has fallen apart considering the circumstances.

Its fallen apart because the season is now over.Its also highlighted that most of our younger players are not good enough and are not Super League standard
Abdull may have potential but will never fulfill it with this club due to his style and should be released
Logan,Turgut,and Fash have had their opportunity but done nothing but highlight that they are only Championship quality.
The spat between Taylor and Watts resulting in Watts been moved on and not replaced was a major mistake by the club

Just get this season done. Move onto the next. Today was hopefully a big sign to the club that we need further recruitment. I know it wasn't our first 17 but even if we bring in a few cheaper squad players we simply can't go into next year with the exact same team. This year has proved that the depth after the first 17 is lacking in quality.

They're all half decent squad players, but playing 3 or 4 together was never going to work, they've simply run out of steam, like Masi did weeks ago.

Injuries this season have crippled us, todays result was just waiting to happen.

I agree injuries have played apart of your season and I am sure you would be up with the top 4 if not in it if you had different circumstances.. But, are people seriously giving excuses for todays performance? Injuries or not no super league team should be getting 60+ past them by another super league side

I don't necessarily think this season has shown the youngsters aren't good enough to be in the squad. But it has shown they aren't yet at the level where we can call on them to lead us. Just one or two of them in a strong squad is fine. They compliment the team and bring something to the table. But when you have 5 or 6 of them and you are asking them to play important roles. Well they just aren't at that level. The jury is out on whether they will be in the future.

I still have hopes for good things from Masi, but he looks worn out. Litten is arguably the pick of the bunch and its a shame we havent seen too much of him. Abdull is also a talent who I hope we continue to work with. Scott seems to have something about him. Turgut, Fash, Downs and Lane are probably destined to never be anything more than average, but we need squad players and they will do a job. Logan, as much as I respect him for his perseverance through his injuries, just doesn't offer anything for me.
