Whilst the trolling is embarrassing there is a point to be made here. Bearing in mind that it isn't the first time it's happened away from the stadium why aren't the police being proactive in assuring the safety of these coaches on the way back to the motorway ? I would have thought it's more their job than the fans' to uphold the law.

Time that away coaches had a police escort for games at both clubs; it would only need to happen for a season. The kids doing this would get bored of turning up and finding their fun spoiled. Start now, and do the first four games of next season, then stop without announcement. Perhaps by then, the youths doing this will have forgotten about it and/or grown up. Worth a try.

If some of you "fans" think it's humorous to have away fans' coaches bricked then you are a very sad minority.

RL clubs (and the RL itself) spend countless thousands on trying to attract new spectators to our sport and to promote the game.

I would have thought that if the culprits were not connected in any way with RL, and in particular Hull FC then presumably this would be happening on other days, at other times, to other buses ? You know I am right.

FACT. A Saints bus got bricked on the way out of the KC.
FACT. It's now becoming a regular 'treat' for away fans to have their bus bricked outside the ground.

I'm a Hull fan. I know the bus wasn't bricked by Hull fans. I know most Hull fans aren't scumbags who brick buses. I know other clubs have an element following them who are scumbags.

It is our problem, whether it's at our ground or not, and as much as it's up to the police to deal with these dregs of society, it's not the police who get the bad name and it's not the police who lose revenue when people decide not to bother coming to the KC.

You've missed the point.

There's little we, as individual fans, can do about it. If any genuine fans know the culprits, I'm sure they'll ring the police. It's up to the club and the police to sort out the problem, and some poor Rovers troll soiling his kecks every time it happens won't change that.

Exactly it's a public order issue, this is a matter for the police.

The club could highlight the fact that it's a problem and request an escort, but other than that there's not a lot they could do.

Assuming it was 2 miles away, and not nearer, the club needs to be in the paper asking questions of the police, and working with them - publicly - to identify the prats, and ways of ensuring the safety of fans.

Ultimately, the club suffers. It is the responsibility of the police, but it's now become the responsibility of the club to make clear to everyone, that these idiots aren't anything to do with us and you are safe to visit.

where was the coach bricked? It's only about 1.5 miles to Clive Sullivan Way. If coaches are getting bricked at approximately the same place, then the police should patrol that area or escort coaches onto the A63.
