Why would we get Robinson though? Tickle is OOC, we don't have a bargaining point really.

Fair play, tbh i'd like it to be the case too.
But we need to be telling Tickle that the offer is only there for a certain length of time, we don't want what will probably be a big chunk of the cap floating around until it's too late.

Whiting and Manu shoe in's for a new contract. Tickle I couldn't care less, even if he has had a few good games this season. Would prefer to see Fitz retained for another year and Burnett stepping up.

id rather have a few good years out of tickle then just one more from fitz,tickle still only 26 i think.

He is 26, but he won't stay forever. Burnett is 22. Lets play him. Done not much wrong. Fitz to kick next year, hall for another one year contract playing centre only, and if he can prove himself, then he can kick.

I'm a big fan of Burnett - very good prospect. Needs a haircut though.

Why would Huddersfield give us Luke Robinson for nothing in return? he has just signed a new deal, good news that Manu is on verge of signing though, at his age and the way he has been playing I would have expected he would be tempted to move on.

Probably of no significance whatsoever but thought i would share it with you.

I remember watching The Super League Show a few seasons ago where they did a questions and answers spot with Robinson and one of the questions were who else would you play for and he said Hull FC.

The player himself may not be happy with his role at the Giants since Brough arrived.

There are always ways of getting out of contracts and Huddersfield themselves may grant release if Luke does not want to be a Giant (no pun intended) anymore. It's happened plenty of times before and will again.

I think Luke would provide excellent cover in the halves or at hooker.

If he's not happy with that role at Hudds, why would he come here to do the same thing?

Great news,I said it pre season Whiting would be first name on my team sheet,then I'd worry about who to put in with him.One player who you never have to worry about giving 100%.

I remember seeing the same thing and know for a fact that Robinson has said he would he would like to play for Hull other times aswell, but that has nothing to do with the Tickle situation, if Huddersfiled want him they can just sign him.

If Hull wanted Robinson they would have to pay good money to buy him and that is before wages, and this is a club that refuses to pay the wages required to employ a competent coach, so Robinson will not be joining Hull for at very least four years when his contract is up.
