Indeed, but we nearly always do sell more. There does seem to be a lack of awareness by fans though that buying tickets from the FC shop gives something back rather than paying on the gate when they get there.

Yep I agree but if you can get there or are going there anyway and you want to help your club we get a % of the tickets sold too, think its 10%, so it helps our income too!
