Taylor has already signed, so unless another prop is leaving I can't see us getting Huby. Would live it if we did though.

I'm guessing Carvell will go, but that still leaves Paea, Feka, Taylor, Bowden, Green and Watts. And that's not even including Thompson who has played a lot of prop this year.

Don't both party's have to agree to the final year when it's optional , so if Taylor doesn't want to see out the 3rd year surely he's a free agent .

Optional contracts can be on the side of either party, or mutually confirmed. So it can be a case of Wigan taking up the optional year without Taylor having a say in the matter (that direction of option usually comes when a club is unsure how successful a player will be ...)

They have to agree to the option being there, but once the criteria is met whoever the party that has the option can enforce it. Pretty standard really.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but someone in Tony's position is unlikely to say "I have got 3 in the bag, 3 pending. But don't get your hopes up, half of them you won't have heard of and they other half are currently on the physio's table".
