Even thou he has let everybody down big time who is connected with the club i feel that this moment in time we will have to keep him,just because of the paper thin squad we have.Someone will have to get in that thick skull of his and tell him that it cannot be tolerated anymore and this is deffo your last chance to change your ways.I know most people won't agree of giving him another chance but what choice does the club have?.

Why keep him so he can break our hearts when he lets us down again in a cup draw or play-off game ? I would sooner play young Jack Briscoe there than keep Tansey!

Thin squad or not the club can not deviate from its stance on discipline otherwise they open up a whole can of worms! Fact is he should have gone last season,he has proven now that with the season yet to get underway he aint changed so doubtless he ever will, get rid now before rot sets in.
Would rather the club go with players who want to be professional and have respect for the club, teamates and fans than a total lack of it.

Will be disappointed if he's given YET another chance by the club to p1$$ down the drain, he's simply done it once too often.

It's a hard one but another option to play young Jack at FB but is he ready for the step up yet?.My only worry would be dropping Jack in the deep end, to fill the boots of an already esablished super league player.Tansey has certainly caused massive disruption.

If Tansey is allowed to remain at the club, there is a very real possibility that I will return my season pass and ask for a refund.

I don't give a monkies how thin on the ground his sacking would leave us, the lad is trouble and needs to go.

Tansey at fault for sure, but shouldn't Agar command more respect from his players? It's not the first time this has happened.

Does anyone remember a young lad called Richard Horne? He made his SL debut at 16, at fullback, I believe, against Leeds. Whatever happened to him?

Point is that the club must follow through on the Tansey issue. If he gets the boot we have enough kids who are on the verge of being good enough to make the step up. If that means Jack Briscoe plays, why the hell not?

Not always that simple though. They need to make sure they have the legal grounds to sack him. If they just release him then they will have to pay his salary for as long as he is contracted and it will also count on the cap.

Then i guess he has to go then.I just hope because of his unprofessional attitude towards the club that we don't suffer on the pitch long term and that we get a ready made replacement very soon.

Not really. We pay a decent amount of money to watch our team, I don't always demand that we win, but I do expect a certain level of professionalism from the players and the club.

As supporters we have had to endure a lot over the past few seasons, Cookie gate, Thackery gate, Crocker gate to name a few. Not all the problems have been of the clubs doing, but all have had a negative effect on this fan. If Tansey is allowed to remain at the club, you can almost write the season off as far as I am concerned and I don't think that I have got the stomach for another wasted year full of excuses for our poor performnces.

If what Tansey has done is a sackable offence I am sure he will be sacked.

If the club were prepared to let the huge number of players go in one year, including Gareth Raynor, to the possible medium-term detriment of the team's on-field performance, why would they suddenly shy away from letting Tansey go now? The players, by all accounts, were left under no illusion as to how they were expected to behave off the field (e.g. remember the Weir Bar "ban"?) so it should come as no surprise if the consequences are harsh.

When is Tanseys wrist slapping due to take place???? There isnt a press conference at 2pm by any chance is there????

I am not saying he is'nt ready i for one hope he is but would rather they bring him through the right way but as the saying says if your good enough your old enough.

I'm sure that the offence in isolation probably isn't sackable. The combination of 3 offences in 12 months however probably makes it sackable.
