He's defence is the same week in week out isn't it..It's what we've come to expect . Oh , And i was talking about his handling.

I think much of the problem for Hall, was they way he was brought in to SL level. He was not eased in like many other teams seem to manage young players.
A bad birth can take a long time to correct, especially if your a confidence player.

Hall looked a bit sheepish today at Bev races, half of me wanted to go over and tell him how cack he was on sat. I thought it'd be bad picking on one though when so many are rubbish.

Also saw Kingy supping like mad and eating loads fo chips. Saw Whiting too, looked like he was heading off after 2nd race!

Craig Hall is a confidence player which is plain to see, he is a mentally fragile young kid in fairness and it shows that he does not handle critisism very well and it then translates into his on field which is suffering because of his constant critisism , its a vicious circle the lad is in and he himself I am sure knows his own issues and demons he has to deal with..
Remember He isnt playing in his true slot on the field and when he has he has looked sharp, he is not a future international by any means but he has a lot of quality unutilised at present because of the shuffling of the team each week but certainly not a waste of time and will come good, but it could easily be said of where was his back row to cover him?? he is a young kid and all players develop at different speeds , Craig is a poor tackler yes but he will grow and learn ...

Well, 24 pages down the line and another shocking performance from the player in question, any more people coming round??.........

If a player cannot handle:

a) criticism from the fans

b) playing in a different position to the one he considers his first choice

c) making a tackle

...then he isn't cut out for Superleague.

Rovers for him then!

Still dont think it's fair to single Hally out when the rest of the team is rubbish too. Hally isnt the one showing poor defensive lines speed down the middle and the inability to slow the opposition down single handedly is he?

Agree the rest of the team are pants, but Hally defence is that bad other teams are just targeting him now, and I do not go with the confidence card, nor do I blame Agar for Hally's defence it has always being pants...The only time the kid has looked good is in NL1 which is about his level IMO..

I recal some great players who had similar issues in the past but out of respect will not name them but played in Wembley appearances etc, thank god AB didnt bin them when they had poor patches huh!!
CH is a very young man with great potential albeit maybe somewhat overhyped at times but defensively he does make mistakes thats for sure but its uncanny how the stabbers on here forget the good things that he does too, he knows for sure he isnt playing well at present himself but those with any sense can see he is exposed a lot as well and trys to simply break down attacks by interception rather than head on challenges that he knows himself he cannot win due to his stature , the club and the kid are working on that and he will come good but he is still so young, do not be so eager to discard the likes of Hall and Washbrook who are still just beginning their careers but appear to have been around for ages!! still kids in SL terms and with experience comes guile and know how , in Rugby the hardest most painful lessons are the ones you dont forget .....

And Craig Hall is how old!!!

I know you rate Hally Dave, and I would love you to be right about him..

However he is old enough to know how to defend and I am sorry but he is a liability and clearly teams are targeting him, it is not as if his defence can be excused because of his offence because that is not happening either..
For me it is like what the club do for Agar, with Hall excuse after excuse, not a f/back, not a winger, playing on wrong side, needs confidence etc etc..

In professional Rugby terms he is wet behind both ears and still learning the game !!
Confidence is a disease if you have it you get better and better if you dont then you get worse and worse..
I can guarantee you if the whole stadium gave out a round of " theres only one craig hall" or similar you would see a improved display .. he is only human and its easier to comment about than go into the arena ones self at that level!!

In rugby league terms it takes 10 years to fully develop and know your trade...maybe Hally was a late starter eh

I can imagine taking on the likes of Senior is not a happy nights sleep the night before

Hall is hardly a seasoned rugby league player, I have seen better defence at West Hull, Skirlaugh and Myton, believe me when it comes to defence Hall would not stand out.

Mind you pro player should relish the prospect of playing against the best that is what it is all about, that has to be the goal and motivation, sport is about challenges.

How many more chance's do You want Hall to have?,he is killing the side all by himself.

What an utterly ridiculous statement. None of the 'head hunters' on here are being paid to play rugby league.

If you went out for a meal and you complained that your steak was burnt, would you expect the waiter to say, "well you couldn't do any better"? If a person is being paid to do a job and they do it poorly, they can expect those who pay their wages to pass comment.

But surely we are supposed to sit back and take it because we follow our team in "in any kind of weather" far be it for fans to make observational comments about players or coaches
