Outstanding effort particularly the first half, really quick play of the balks, thought having Talanoa back really helped, Wigan throw a lot at us 2nd half but we coped well. Didn't see that coming with the players out.

I think they were out on their feet the last 10 minutes and had started to shut off mentally.
Wigan threw it about a bit and with their talent it's not surprising that a few things came off for them.

What a win. Great peformance 1 to 17. Bullied the Wigan forwards most of the game even though on paper we looked to be a lot weaker, especially on the bench

Couple of sloppy tries at the end took the gloss off a fantastic showing and made the score flattering to the pies.

We seem a real Jeckyll and Hyde team this year, one week we play with so much intensity, with players running some great lines and running hard, we look like a decent outfit.
Then out comes Mr Hyde, we look like thirteen school girls might give us a match.
I just can't work it out. I mean tonight we looked weak in the pack yet the players drove in hard and more importantly played fast and with passion, we really dominated the rook, and while I know Wigan had players missing, the players we put out played outstanding. I just wish we could see that a bit more often.

Exactly what I was about to post! Great win tonight but so frustrating to see us play like that when we chucked away two points against Leigh last Friday. The team needs to find some consistency.

I'd also like to see some of the young players who played so well tonight keep their place. Griffin should not be getting back in ahead of Rawsthorne for example. Play the players who are performing not just becquse they are a bigger name.

Sensational effort to hold out Bentham's best efforts. Thought it'd get messy anyways with backing up from a double header weekend. Masi is a machine and disappointed he couldn't get over the line.

great win tonight, the pack in the 1st half outstanding, Thompson made me eat humble pie tonight, though all the lads stood up well and the binman was terrific, last 10 min we just switched of and maybe fatigue set in, think if it was closer it wouldn't have happened, thought the young kids of the bench really got stuck in as well,again well done lads, just seen the crowd though there was a tad more imo,

The funny thing about Thomo is that some of his best games have been in the front row even though he is lightweight.
Just wonder whether the club could build up his upper body and add some weight without losing his pace then use him as an impact prop.

That blatant knock on for one of their tries that he never sent upstairs, Rawsthorne getting take out in the air, the Kelly knock on that never was, and a few other niggles when Wigan realised they weren't gonna win.

And, as per usual we saw a team warning given and then no penalties for fooking ages, like they don't want to commit to sending someone for ten. I've started to think team warnings do the warned team a huge favour.

Agreed thought he had a good game and let the game flow, we got most of the decisions first half when on a roll reserves 2nd half.

2nd half the direction of the game swung in wigans favour. First try was from a forward pass, questionable offside for another, not going to the screen.

Puts Wigan on a team warning, they concede 2 penalties in the next 5 to 10 minutes. Shaul makes a break tries to play the ball, Wigan defender has a clear second pull at his leg, Bentham let it go, shortly after the team warning. 2 examples of him bottling it

3rd professional foul from stopping us play the ball quick when we made a break and rawsthorne been taken/slammed out in the air in the tackle

Someone from the Wigan dressing room at half time may have had a word or two I reckon which wouldn't be the first time Wigan have done that in a game

You would be correct, Bentham was awful in that second half , some disgraceful decisions

Often I change my view after watching it, but I think at one point we where 8-0 on pens, a sinbinning and an 8 point yet. Thought Minis try could have been disallowed for a pull back and one other was a close forward pass.

Good ref performance particularly after watching the likes of child.

For a coach who can't bring though young players and develop them, I personally think Radford has done an amazing job with the young players and who have stood up well in this tough period!

Wasn't expecting the win at all. Made up with the performance.
The experience these young forwards are gaining will really stand them in good stead.

Also credit to Thompson thought he had a great game and showed good leadership qualities as a Senior player tonight

Great result, I must have seen around 80 games against Wigan, and wins have been very few and far between.

Just seen a clip on twitter of that grub Tierneys' kick at minis' try, hope the rfl ban him could've broken minis' wrist! Worse than watts last week imo

Think we miss his brains more than his play, a couple of times we needed to calm down, finished a couple of sets poorly and he would have taken the one at a more crucial time.

I personally prefer the look of Kelly and Connor at HB. Sneyd goal kicking aside I think Connor offers more.
