Big weekend, lose (depending on results this weekend) and we could drop 3 places to 7th which will be disapointing IMO.

I would play Horne at FB and have Berrigan and Long at halfs, Washbrook on the bench and drop Hall and Cusack.

What a night it would be if it does end up been an all-Hull game in the play-offs.

If Wigan beat Rovers on Sunday then I will be cheering more than normal .
WE will be odds on to play Rovers at home and I can't fooking wait for that one.
I mentioned a few weeks ago that I felt we would play Rovers at the KC and that game for me would be our GF.
We have been SO inconsistent this season that I feel we will not win away in the play offs and by beating Rovers at the KC we condemn them to losing yet another play off game and then we get an away match , probably Wire or Saints no less.
I can't help but find that we will have a strange feeling at the KC when we play Leeds.

Leeds win - home to Drovers on Sunday evening the week after.

I agree the fact it is on a Saturday afternoon/early evening will hopfully help attendance wise even though it is likely to shown on Sky.

Sky will confirm the fixtures by Monday at the latest. Probably want to see what results are thrown up this round first but Hull V Leeds for 4th place looks a banker to me.

Kick off times for the Saturday TV games are 4pm and 6.30pm

They may pick the Wigan v Bradford game if Wigan are to be presented with the League Leaders shield. I'd say we are almost certain to be on, looking at the other fixtures.

the club should be doing everything possible to get an massive gate for this one, lots of marketing, ticket offers maybe give away a few aswell. should be looking at 17-18k for this

Why would we get 18k? Leeds won't bring many as they'll have spent a load on Wembley, it's on tv and IIRC, derbies apart, our record attendance is 17kish v Bradford but that was a GF eliminator. 15k is doable but a stretch IMO.

They are given away 2 free tickets for the best 2005 Challenge Cup story.

There'll be about 15,000 there at best. Remember it's all pay.

The play off attendances last year were very modest e.g. 11,000 Leeds v Rovers, 6,000 Saints v Huddersfield, 8,600 Wigan v Cas.

If Hull make a big thing about using all those unused tickets from your season passes, that could boost the gate. I don't have any spare myself but know a few people who have missed the odd home game this season.

According the the SL website the Sky fixtures are going to be announced tomorrow.

Cant wait for this game, it will certainly have all the makings of a play-off game. With the right marketing, I think a realistic attendance would be around 15-16k. Having Long and Horne back will obviously be a massive boost, but this will still be an extremely tough game. Hopefully the CC final with take abit of gas out Leeds' tank, but I dont think itll have a great impact tbh and I expect Leeds to be as dangerous as ever.
