Remember Steve Craven scoring a peach that day and who could forget Viakona trampoling all over Rovers defenders to score infront of Threepenney.

I was there with Steve Massam and a certain turncoat junior coach who has now passed over, about half an hour later raising a glass on the centre spot! There were a few of us shedding a tear today down there , and cranes and bull dozers everwhere you cant get in either security on the gates, Health and safety apparently! Had a look at number 23 in Aylesford street across the road where I was brought up it was a sorry sight too. Sad sight indeed perhaps its better to remember it when those in the the old wooden Threepennies were burning scarves throwing Banana's, and preserving the wood at half time! When all the streets were filled with cars parked at at 45 degrees to the pavement and all the back yards were full of bicycles.

We should have been back there playing our under 20's games next season but we've been screwed!

Mine was when Australia played there during the 80's and the threepenny stand sang to their mascot 'Skippy, Skippy give us a wave, give us a wave, Skippy' which he duly did, they then sang 'Skippy is a ker, Skippy is a ker'

I contacted the Council this afternoon about this, lots of folks have rung me about it, seats bricks etc are being put in storage and the council are looking at how they can offer them to the fans, they'll probabaly do this through the club. They are looking at what Saints are doing apparently!

So many great memories of the place,my best is taking my 2 week old daughter after she had been released from special care baby unit,not a cry all game just a big smile every time she heard old faithful.

No he is not from Hull. He is from Middlesbrough.

I am not sure about the history of this but didn't both K.R. and Hull City have the Boulevard as their home ground in the past? It makes it even more important historically if this is so. Gutted really about this.

Hopefully the voters in Hull will remember the actions of the Lib Dems at the next council elections.

At the very least fans should be able to get a piece of history from The Boulevard but the way things have turned out leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.

I remember the portakabin shop on the corner of the best stand staffed by 3 old dears - you could barely get in it on matchday. Changing ends at halftime. And the announcer was quality when the tannoy was working - Arthur I think? Best memories for me were the Gary Nolan salmon-leap vs Leeds, worst the 1 point defeat to Wigan in the cup when we were miles ahead at one point. My mum used to take a flask of coffee that was mainly Tia Maria. Something magical about the winter floodlight games, freezing your @rse off watching the dimly lit packs set for a scrum and seeing the steam rise. Good times.
