Regardless of regimes Agar has had 4 years and failed. If he is in charge next season we could be looking at less than 10k per match.

Not saying I would agree with it but it's his club and his prerogative as to how he runs it. For 3 million quid that's the kind of decision you get to make.

If he is a wipe-the-slate-clean man he may well decide to give Agar more time under his own (Pearson's) structures. He may well have already factored in a lower pass holder number next season. He may decide that paying Agar off is not the best way forward immediately on top of a big tax bill that he's already got to sort. Not saying any of this is true but there will be many things being considered. I still think that unless we win a playoff game Agar will be under serious pressure. If we do win a playoff game it could be argued he's improved on last year. Not my view but it could be argued.

Subsequently, Billy Davies lasted a whole month under Pearson at Derby, and Phil Brown roughly 4 months after Pearson's return to City. So it would seem just as likely that he will spot a lemon pretty quickly, and the Little experience hasn't altered that.
