He's made a fool of Radford too many times already this year. The way he smashed him about at Headingley in the last game was pitiful. I'm not suprised Radford retired to save himself from another pummeling next season. There's too many "plastic" hardmen like Radford around, the funny thing is none of them have many winners rings or medals. Radford like many of his team-mates wasn't tough enough where it counted, that's why you were all sat at home watching Leeds in the challenge cup and playoffs after we'd humiliated you again.

I'm sure baileys medals are down to who he has around him in the Leeds team , not through his own ability . And if your on about hardmen , don't even mention baileys name as its laughable . Only ever seen him confront people who are 12 stone and under .

Didn't Barrie McDermott saying Radders was the hardest man in the league. Wierd. He must have seen a lot of Bailey in his time at Leeds to realise how hard he is. Oh wait.

Who cares how "hard" Radford or Bailey are/aren't on a rugby pitch. Both are below average players who are penalty machines.

Dunno about the penalty stats, but I'd agree that neither player is owt to write home about.

bailey is a coward on the field, only targets younger players or smaller! like many said, bailey isnt the hardman you all think he is.

btw quite a few fc players do have cc medals

Both are "dumb" players in defence which teams target to get a penalty out off imo.

I'm not disagreeing with you, I just don't know how many penalties either player concedes compared to their respective team mates.

The thing that always annyoed me with Radford is where and when he would concede a penalty.

Bailey doesnt give away a lot of penalties. At Leeds you are much more likely to get a penalty out of JJB, Ablett or Kylie.

Baileys problem is his attacking work rate, he doesnt do enough and what he does do isnt enough. If Bailey took more hit-ups and made more metres with them he would be a very very good prop. His defensive effort is really quite good.

Let's have a look at the facts about Radford, Bailey and the boxing. Despite the event being a success,a few quid in Radfords pocket and a few quid for charity, it seems a few numbskulls want to question why Bailey wasn't there boxing. The facts are Radfords season ended in early september, him and his team exited the playoffs with a whimper at Leeds. He's probably been training for his boxing event for the last 3 months. Meanwhile, Bailey has been doing what he does best,playing rugby, winning Grand Final winners rings and training with the England squad throughout the Four Nations tournament. I don't think he ever intended to aid Radfords testimonial kitty by boxing at the event, but does anyone seriously think he would sacrifice the few weeks he has off in December to go boxing after training /playing for the last 11 months until the end of november. It's time for some of you to stop obsessing about Bailey and making fools of yourselves.

I appreciate you see Leeds alot more than me but any time i've seen Bailey play be it against one of the Hull sides or on sky etc he seems to give away a fair few penaltys and like Radford at stupid times and positions on the pitch.

See a lot of Leeds and I think Bailey is underrated by most RL fans. He actually does a very good job for Leeds and I agree his weakness is his lack of workrate in attack. However when he comes on he invariably gives away a penalty almost immediately.

I'd have taken him at Hull this season had the opportunity arose.

Agree on that, RL fans just see all the bad things he does, would have had him at Rovers without a doubt.

I'd have him on the bench with Moa as our interchange props.

Let me tell you........ There were 8 fighters after a £5000 purse. They all wanted to win. The 'scorers' were totaly non-biased. Radders won this comp on shear guts and addrenaline. If you wanna say stuff like that, then i suggest you put on a pair of gloves (or send ya dad) and talk to Lee about it


Now..... As the chairman of Life For A Kid, the charity that Radders is a patron of, I got to take my self and my camera and my access all areas pass into all the fighters' dressing rooms at the arena. They were all pretty pumped-up and ready to fight. The Ref was one of the most respected in the world of boxing and there were plenty of supporters for all the guys in the ring. Obviously Radders had more cos it is his testimonial and home town.
The guy was suffering with flu and a stomach bug and almost pulled out after the Hauraki bout. Jewitt gave a stern test but that was all Lee needed to fire him up for Scully. When the video comes out you will all see what we witnessed on Saturday night......LEE RADFORD IS ONE HARD BLOKE! I've got all the photographic evidence to back this up. I also got a picture of him and his two boys after he'd won...... The proud family man side of this local hero came out. I printed, framed and took the photo to Lee's house last night as a thank-you for being a patron for us.
Now...... All you doubters..... Bailey BOTTLED IT...... Stanley Gene didnt train that much and gave a good account of himself, so saying that Bailey didnt have much time to train is total crap. He's an international RL forward........ at the peak of his fitness...... He was asked and bottled it FACT!!!

Oh well that proves it must be true!
