| First post in ages, off to see My Morning Jacket on Saturday with Digger at the O2 in Leeds. Other than that not got any other tickets lined up.
Music I'm currently enjoying; Hiss Golden Messenger - Poor Moon, Feist - Metals, Ryan Adams - Ashes & Fire, Manics - National Treasures, Pearl Jam - Xmas 2011 fan club single, Deer Tick - Divine Providence, Wilco - The Whole Love, Pearl Jam - Twenty.
Oh and love the new home shirt, might even buy one this year (first time since 2006).

Not heard that in ages, favourite Crue song tbf I've seen Heart before. Bit surprised Crue have the same set time as Def Lep, gonna be good though. Pity they don't use the in the round stage these days.
Listening to "Let it Rock" by Great White at the moment. Hope Jack recovers fully & RIP to Jani Lane

I've never been to the Cockpit in Leeds, what's it like?
While we're on about venues, I've just bought tickets to see Paul Liddell (Guitarist/singer/songwriter) on the 19th of November at Toll Gavel Church in Beverley. He's from Sunderland and has a few albums under his belt, a bit of easy listening stuff before moving on to Alter Bridge etc

Don't bloody say Duchess is better, I do the bookings for Fibbers lol.
The best band around at the minute in my opinion is Dry the River, they wont ever achieve stardom but will become of the most respected bands around. They will achieve a similar level to Beruit I think.
Pulled Apart By Horses are amazing live. I will always love Little Comets, worked with them since forever and I think they are awesome. Vintage Trouble were incredible at Fibbers before, I still have some tickets left for Lincoln show if anybody wants any, PM me.
Stuff that I think will do well in 2012 is
The Holidays - www.facebook.com/theholidaysband
Walk the Moon - www.facebook.com/walkthemoon
Venice - www.facebook.com/veniceofficial
And if anyone wants to tell me they are rubbish, I get paid to have good music taste so shush :p

It's under the Railway arches, decent enough venue. Seen some great gigs there over the years (Kaisers, Travis, QOTSA, Rilo Kiley, etc)

Been in lurk mode for a couple of seasons. Been totally effed off with the club TBH. Maybe I'm a fool, but slightly optimistic for 2012.

I have mine already. I couldn't go to the York gig and thought I'd missed my chance. I'm expecting a great night.
I'll check out a few of the links and names you've mentioned over the next few days.

It's no more than 15 minutes max, we've walked it many times, it's not far from millennium square which is usually well populated. Definitely cloakroom facilities. Not a clue about the queues as we're usually heading for the O'Neill's bar around the corner
