All talk of a bust up seems odd to me, Long looked today pretty much the same as he has throughout his time here, he has broke the line a few times but his influence as a playmaker has been minimal, and his kicking game garbage. I have said all off season the biggest worry is not getting Long on the field, but getting him playing well.

Obst to me looks like he will be a better option then Long anyways in this position, although we should have bought Gareth Moore and gave him a shot, that would allow Obst to be interchange hooker, as it stands Houghton will be flogged playing 80 mins.

Id have Sharp over Agar anytime of the week and Sharp was sacked for a lot less than what Agar is doing.

You've hit it on the head there, sharpy was made a scapegoat by the board, he was made out to be the bad one when in fact agar has done no better so you all need to ask why is agar so special...............

To be fair to him i think alot of that is due to the tactics as our tackle 4 play is to find the middle of the pitch (unless we are in the oppositions 30) so that we force both wingers to drop back for the kick. Our tackle 3 is the only play where we try to play with some width.

Rubbish, Peter Sharp took this club bacwards ten years with his 'every player has to be able to cover three or four positions' approach. Even now were still reeling from the mess that man caused.

His signings were on the whole very poor, but as a coach, tactician and motivator Sharp was streets ahead of Agar.

When Long signed for you guys he said he would have a say on the offensive playbook, not sure what his input has been like.

Hang on Sharpe went ages ago you cant still keep using him as an excuse who signed longey, who signed tansey , horne was already there, are you rule in disguise. Agar makes very bad tactical decisions imo that to me says he aint got a clue.............

I think like some others have said, at times he looks exasperated and loses interest. It's just like what happened with Berrigan.

I said at the time we should have left him in charge until the end of the season and used the time to appoint a whole new coaching team. Instead we had a knee-jerk response and the appointment of his assistant. Ho hum.

Fitz implied straight away in his post match interview that there were injuries from the game. I suspect he was referring to Longy and doubt he would have made it up. I'm not sure spreading unfounded rumours about players walking out is going to help anyone at this stage to be honest.
