We've had some great performances from Willy during his time with us. Let's hope he gives us some more before he goes. Sorry to see him leave but its the perfect opportunity to spend money in other areas of the team. I trust PG to use the money wisely. Onwards and upwards, starting with Leeds on Saturday.

Manu has gone,sorry to see him go but Ellis as replacement you can`t knock that. If Turner goes we need a replacement for him a big strong runner hopefully.Re rumours on Seymour, Finch to replace is gathering strength,O`Meley and moa will take a lot of replacing and not sure where they will come from.

Said all I'm going to say about this TBH. Just hope he puts the performances in for the rest of the season.

I think because Manu has looked head and shoulders above most of our players in recent seasons has skewed peoples views of him overall. Now don't get me wrong i think he is a fine player however, in recent seasons he has looked better because the players around him have been poor (and that is being kind to some of them). This season he has done nothing startling and I think that is partly down to the players around him stepping up their game.

I wish him well at Saints (can't see him going any where else) and hopefully he gets a couple of runners up medals.

Sorry to see Manu go. I think a 2 year offer was best for the club and the three years that was put on the table for was too long, better we spend the money in other areas of the team.

Well i for one will miss him and hope he gives it the large one for the rest of the season , then when he signs elsewhere he will be an ex player and gets the barrage he deserves afterwards.....................

As I have posted on our board: if you offered him a massive contract and he's turned it down then surely money isn't the motivation.

I can't see Saints' contract offer to be significantly higher than what you have offered; significant enough for him to move clubs.

Glad the situations sorted. No hard feelings towards Manu from me and i trust Gentle and Pearson to bring in a suitable replacement or spend the money elsewhere on something better than what weve got.

Recruitment needs to be impressive and by that I don't mean the likes of Crookes, Arundal & Johnson. If rumours are to be believed we are not only losing Manu, but O'Meley and maybe Moa that some serious salary cap space and it needs to be used wisely, there's no point having Ellis if were not going to make the rest of the team stronger, we need at least 2 good props, a right centre and if Seymour & McKinnon are going an half back & full back.

They've certainly got a task on their hands.

You can expect your recruitment to be very good, you'll certainly be competing next year.
