You NEED some players with utility value. I agree he shouldn't even be considered as a first choice winger next season, but he covers injury reliably in a number of positions.

Think horne should be used as cover at / FB and not play in the halves. Whiting can cover most positions and so should not be allowed to leave.

ive said all along that jamie ellis should start as 7 next season yes hes young and will no doubt make mistakes and is unproven but as a team we would play much better with him in team rather then horne.

get sharp back on the wing,get his confidence back,hes a out and out winger,also thought he did well tonight.

or sign a quality winger and leave turner to develop in the centre who has improved alot this year

I really hope we see a lot of Ellis next season. He's 22 in next month and is in the top 3 for Championship player of the year. He's got lots of attributes to lack and IMO would have made a difference for FC today on last tackle plays if only because he doesn't just hack the ball dead on the last but actually tries to get the ball in the dead ball area, often via the posts. If we even had some sort of gameplan based around that it would be an improvement. I've said before, but he reminds me of Cooke a bit. We've taken a punt on the signing, worst of all worlds for club and player for him to play U20s IMO.

Said it months ago that we should play Ellis at 7 and Seymour at 6. Seymour is a 6 been made to play 7.

i rate him very highly a proper natural half that controls a game but structures the attack very very well, for me horne and seymour are similar players and we would be much better with ellis at 7 first reciever with seymour and then mckinnon playing out the back of ellis. also ellis kicking game is very good and along with seymour and heremia that departant could be very good
