| I thought that Huddy were badly done to overall but I dont think that it lost them the game. They made far too many errors and to be honest with ball in hand they looked about as short as options as we have this year. Really disappointing because they have looked good this year. They just crumbled on the day.

Good point , And one i agree with . I didn't see anything wrong with it either. Definitely an area that needs clearing up. Also , Why do we have to hear everything the ref says ? . Personally , I find this annoying . ..WAIT..HOLD ....GO... ONE.......WAIT....HOLD....ECT.

| I dont think that things such as the obstruction ruling today make the game very accessible to the casual observer. I can imagine today that there will have been 'saturday sports fans' who might have no real interest in league that happen to flick bbc1 on and become instantly confused when even the commentators cant really explain the decision of a referee/VR.

| It was something that Saints started off under Millward i think and it was never brought up .Now every team is doing it , It seems that only certain refs are penalizing it.

| Two things that changed the match - the loss of Kevin Brown and the knock on that was missed from a huge bomb that would have put Huddersfield on the attack 20 out.

Or the knock on by Anderson after he charged the ball down, as he went to collect he knocked it on yet no one has mentioned that, it got wire on the front foot early on

| From a Warrington fans point of view
1. If Lunts disallowed try had been scored by a Warrington player I would have been mightily hacked off to see it chalked off. It was a 50/50 call but would have expected the benefit of any doubt to go to the attacking player
2. The try chalked off for obstruction by Hodgson was right in front of us - definite obstruction. Bridge didnt misread the play, he was sliding from left to right to cover. Because he was blocked off, Briers was left isolated resulting in the try
3. Matt Kings disallowed try could have either been disallowed for a knock on ( i still think Riley prob touched the ball 1st ) or a 2 on 1 ball steal.
Fantastic atmosphere at the Warrington end. There probably wasnt the 30,000 people were claiming but would be surprised if there were much less than 25,000. When watching it back at home, the TV didnt do justice to the noise generated one bit. The Beeb seemed more concerned with making sure the viewers could listen to Ganson instead.
Even the Hudds supporters seem to be disappointed by the level of noise from their own end but if Warrington had gone down 18-6 so quickly I think we would have been a touch dispirited as well.
Wasnt the greatest free flowing game of rugby league and Huddersfield never got close enough to call it a nail biter but what do i care. I waited 19 years to be able to ask for "8 tickets for the Warrington end" at a Challenge Cup Final.

I think that is a valid point.
Quite why BBC and Sky both think we want to hear the referee at all times baffles me. Fair enough when he is talking to the video ref or is giving a player a ticking off but hearing him call tackle numbers or constant cries of "Moooove!!!" are just annoying.

Exactly how i saw it....Bridge had already read 1 dummy run and was sliding across with the play.

Without Bridge being taken out Him ,Briers and Reilly (I think) would have just slid right and Reilly would have snuffed out Hodgeson.
