If we do manage to release players to create cap space to bring in second row is there anyone out there who will improve the team?

Currently I think Le Cam is the best wide player without a club.

If we are tight on cap then it will have to be a mid-season signing after letting someone go.

A big off season ahead for Severs.

Carlos is in my opinion is our best option for second row if we dont bring anyone in with Mitch as his centre partner.
Griffin can play there but his attitude last season stinks and i hope the club are making a real effort to move him on.
Dont think either Scott or Wynne will command a regular place in the team and can see both of them moving on at the end of this coming season.
Still think the club are mainly focusing on 2024 when have a potential massive turnover of players which should allow us to find a wing and centre with real pace and hopefully a big strong second row and front row to replace Taylor

Lets see what Tony Smith does but wouldnt surprise me if he plays him there given that we dont have any cap space for an additional second row and what a great job Watkins has done at Salford

Didn't really work out, thought he started really well and looked a good player, but like the rest of the team his form dropped off a cliff and he looked poor, think he is a decent player and would have probably done ok this season with an off season behind him, happy with what we have though, hope he does well at Wests.

Very hard to judge him in that team. Think he looked decent in flashes. Even Munster would look average in our team last year though.
Originally thought he’d be a better utility option than Lovodua, but looking forward to what TS can do with Joe.

I'd get a prop in and put Ligi 2nd row said all along he can play in SR after he was excellent against Leeds last year and now doing it for Samoa in WC.

I'm seem to remember at the time of Ligi signing it was to play at LF or SR but he ended up playing as a forward from the start due to injuries at the time.

Do we have the cap space for a prop? This seems to be the Mao issue if we had space I'm sure we would bring in another forward.

I think it would have been poor to renege on that, we are talking about a man's livelihood after all.It wasn't a great decision, but the club has more honour than to do that, should have been a shorter deal though at the outset as Shaul was being called out by fans back then for basically stifling the attack.

Yeah I am hopeful that Smith may give him some game time , because for such a young age he is quite a unit and fast too. We may see a game with a Fijian on both our flanks at some point, depending on Swift's recovery.
