Holdsworth was basically confirmed in the Mail the day after the Salford game.

Hmmm not sure I believe what's written in that.. As I said I love the rumours but will only belive it when it's confirmed by Hull.

Someone on the Bulls Forum claims we have signed John Bateman on a 3 year deal. Awesome news if true.

It's unlikely we'd get Locke I'd have thought, but what about Glen fisiahii from the Warriors? Prone to a few lapses but scores tries for fun, at least for the Vulcans he does. Didn't he score something like nine in two games early this season?

Always thought McDonnell would come to us. When interviewed by Angela Powers when the story first broke he wouldn't say where he was going but when asked directly about us he just said he was leaving it to his agent.

Why would he risk the wrath of Rovers fans, if he wasn't coming he could have flatly denied it.

The only other option I think is Kearney at the Bulls. Don't buy the Locke story.

Agreed - the only thing that makes me think maybe not is that the secret six are mostly (meaning at least 4) 'young and English' and you've been linked with a few other antipodeans.

I think Kearney is the better player but McDonnell has real potential. Don't see an English option tbh and whilst Locke would be a fantastic signing I just don't see it.

The other thing is when the Shannon story broke both clubs were very quick to deny it, too quick in fact. We'll soon see.
